Becoming a Grand Master: The Journey to Mastery

Achieving the status of a grand master in any field is no small feat. It requires a unique blend of dedication, perseverance, and passion. Here’s what it takes to get there:

1. Relentless Practice: Consistent and deliberate practice is the cornerstone of mastery. It’s about pushing your limits, refining your skills, and learning from your mistakes.
2. Unwavering Passion: Passion fuels the journey. It keeps you motivated during the tough times and drives you to continuously improve.
3. Expert Guidance: Learning from those who have already achieved mastery can accelerate your progress. Seek out mentors and coaches who can provide valuable insights and feedback.
4. Resilience: The path to becoming a grand master is filled with challenges and setbacks. Resilience helps you bounce back from failures and keep moving forward.
5. Curiosity and Lifelong Learning: Stay curious and open to new ideas. Mastery involves a commitment to continuous learning and adapting to new information and techniques.
6. Focus and Discipline: Maintaining focus on your goals and having the discipline to stick to your practice routine is crucial. Distractions and complacency are the enemies of progress.

Becoming a grand master is a journey, not a destination. Embrace the process, celebrate your progress, and keep striving for excellence. Your dedication will pay off in the end. 💪

Did FCA leave Stellantis holding the bag on the 4xE Wrangler class action suit? Or is government requirements for Electric Car too much pressure and manufactures cutting corners just to get to market?

A new class-action suit claims that a recall isn't enough

At 38 years old I never thought I would be be in the second best shape of my life and getting into my new best shape.

All it took was 1% change and then 1% after that. I couldn’t see the change at first, however, I felt it. Telling my self things like “If your not going to do it, who will”, “shut up and move”, “your not going to die”, “what’s the worse that can happen”

Since I started my journey in September with a questionable biopsy report, it’s been a roller coaster. Going through all the emotions of worry. Finally telling myself, you can’t control what happened but you can control how you respond to it!

The weight went up and down, sometimes a 10lb swing. I never once let it discourage me, only put myself in check. But when I realized my 1% change, had changed my mindset, how I started my day, my mental clarity. It was the more intense workouts that really cleared my head.

Working out became a tool for my brain to function better, rather than to get “better looking”. My eating became not about losing weight but for my energy levels to stay stable throughout the day.

When your WHY changes. Your WHY can change you!

Because of a bad relationship I had years ago that put me in some uncomfortable positions and my mom visiting for extended stay; I finally got around to taking self defense class. That turned into me staying for the Brazilian jujitsu classes.

I saw my confidence, start to be a thing in my life, which I always thought was wish-washy at times. This is something I’m going to stay with. My body changed so much in the one month of this vs the 3 months of working out on my own.

I want to get good and maybe fight. Let’s just play it by ear and see where it goes. the guys at Gracie Ocean City and women Got Your Back Self Defense has helped me make my next 1% change.

But, great job on the car wash and the shop fixed the shake in the steering!

Why the BUT?

Having worked in the car business almost 10yrs, I’ve experienced this issue before first hand. Call me a secret shopper.

Maybe people in the chain of command is the problem or maybe it’s the training.

Is it the service writer?
Maybe, but then she tells the sales person…ok she did her job.

BUT the sales guy, talked to their used car manager… great he did his job.

But the sales manager doesn’t want to get up to appraise the car….I’ve experienced this. Sounds far fetch but been there.

Or maybe it’s the GM who hasn’t taught service and sales to be friends. One hand washes the other.

Or is It the owner, out of touch with the dealership and accountability has fallen appart below him.

Ok so so let’s skip the lazy used car manager and say it’s the sales person. Say they have the software where he can print up an approximate appraisal from their desk. Looks very professional and can be costomized to show a new car quote from inventory. It’s so cool, I’ve used it to it even works on old unsold leads and previous sold cx back.

Working the service drive is the most profitable part of the dealership. They trust the dealership to work on their car. Others, have bought from your dealership already. The profit margins, quickness of the deal all around is better and leads to better reviews.

So why time after time, I was usually the saleswoman making connections with service customers. Even turning it over to F&I for fresh warranty sales, because I couldn’t make a deal. BTW I didn’t make a commission on the back end. It was about serving the customers needs and helping the dealer make a sale. Also, when I was an F&I manager, I’d go talk to service customers and would make a few extra sales a month with my down time.

Did the dealer so the rightt thing or too little too late?

So, I left the dealer and made my “time line” post about Subaru dropping the 🏈. After 4pm, over an hour from my post, I get the random txt below. With a pic of his business card a pic of the dealer url (not an actual clickable link) to view their inventory.

And too boot, another ball was dropped when my husband submitted our info for a test drive offer they have for a GC. How was a call not made within 5min to schedule that test drive?

Where are the leads going? Short staffed? Need training?

I feel like I would make for a good profit loss consultant for dealers. Hell I wouldn’t mind doing a sit down withth the GM and review this with options to fix this issue. Letting heads roll is not the solution if they were not trained properly in the first place and proper quarterly refreshers done.
