🔥🐎 A COBRA-INSPIRED FOX BODY? NOW THAT’S ANOTHER LEVEL.

Fast cars are always a good idea, but a Cobra inspired Fox Body Mustang silhouette racer riding on Goodyear Eagles? That’s something else entirely.

Built on Ford’s Fox platform, the third-generation Mustang was produced from 1979 to 1993, becoming one of the most recognizable Mustangs ever made. Lightweight, affordable, and incredibly easy to modify, the Fox Body built a massive following among enthusiasts.

The generation is generally split into two eras: 1979–1986, with the iconic quad headlight design, and 1987–1993, which received a smoother, more aerodynamic front end.

Here’s the crazy part: Ford once considered replacing the Mustang with a front wheel drive successor. But strong demand for the rear wheel drive Mustang helped keep the formula alive, while that other project eventually became the Ford Probe.

Decades later, the Fox Body remains an American car-culture icon, especially the legendary notchback.
