🎉 Celebrating 45 Years with Cheryl Nason 🎉
Today we're celebrating Cheryl Nason's 45-year anniversary with Darling's!
Cheryl's story with this company is truly one of a kind. She started right out of high school at the old computer center on Center Street in Bangor, back when Darling's still owned auto parts stores and Owen Darling would stop by the office just to say hello. In 1988, she made the move to Darling's Nissan on Griffin Road, and she's been part of the Honda Nissan Volvo team ever since it combined on Sylvan Road. Along the way, Cheryl has had the rare privilege of working alongside every generation of the Darling family to lead this company.
Through all that change, Cheryl says the family focus at Darling's has never wavered. As a working mother and grandmother, she's valued the flexibility to be present for her own family, including her husband Ken, her children Sarah and Matt, and her grandson Finn. It's fitting too, since her husband and both her kids have all worked for Darling's over the years. When she's not at the dealership, you'll find Cheryl cheering on her favorite sports teams, cracking open a good book, or piecing together a jigsaw puzzle.
Forty-five years is a milestone very few ever reach. Congratulations, Cheryl, and thank you for being part of the Darling's story from one generation to the next.
