What an incredible turnout! We had around 80 cars join us for the show, and we can’t thank everyone enough for coming out, bringing some amazing vehicles, and supporting a great cause.

This year’s show benefits the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland. 🐾 We’re asking for a $5 minimum donation or an item from the ARLGP wishlist to help support the animals in their care.

🐾 WE’VE DONE IT AGAIN! ANOTHER PET FOOD DELIVERY IS HEADED ACROSS MAINE! 🚚

What started as a way to help bridge the distance between donated pet food and the organizations that need it has turned into something pretty special — and we’re excited to be part of another round of deliveries.

Through the continued collaboration of Chewy , Maine Humane, Greater Good Charities, Bangor Humane Society , Eastern Area Agency on Aging, and Quirk Auto Group, another shipment of pet food is making its way from Augusta to communities across northern and eastern Maine.

This time, food will support:

🐾 Furry Friends Food Bank — Brewer
🐾 The Pixel Fund Pet Rescue
🐾 Howland Animal Control
🐾 Old Town Animal Orphanage

And we’re helping take it even farther north, with additional pallets headed to:

🐾 Halfway Home Pet Rescue — Caribou
🐾 PAWS Animal Welfare Society, Inc. — Fort Kent
🐾 ARK Animal Sanctuary — Houlton

That last leg is where our Quirk Parts team comes in. By incorporating these deliveries into an existing northern Maine parts route, we can help get the food closer to the organizations receiving it — saving them a trip south and allowing more of their time and resources to stay focused on the animals they serve.

We’re proud that what began as a collaborative solution has become something we’re able to do again and keep moving forward.

A truck, a few pallets, an existing route, and a lot of organizations willing to work together can make a pretty big difference. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who continues to make this partnership possible — and especially to our Quirk Parts team for helping get it where it needs to go!

After an incredible 20-year run with Quirk, dating all the way back to 2006 when we first acquired Ford, Chris Wright is officially hanging up the keys and heading into retirement.

As a cornerstone of our Recon team, Chris worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure countless vehicles looked their absolute best before hitting the road. His dedication, hard work, and steady presence will be deeply missed by the whole team.

Please join us in thanking Chris for two decades of service and wishing him all the best in his next adventure! 👏🎉

After an incredible 50 years with Quirk, Julie is officially retiring! 🎉

Julie’s career with us goes all the way back to the early days at Village Subaru on Griffin Road in Bangor, working alongside some of Quirk’s original employees. From Village Subaru to Bean & Conquest and through many chapters of Quirk Auto Group, Julie has truly grown alongside our company.

Over the years, she has worked in several areas of the business, including HR and administration, becoming someone who knows the ins and outs of Quirk better than just about anyone. But even more importantly, Julie has been a familiar face, a trusted coworker, and a longtime part of the Quirk family.

After five decades of dedication, friendship, and countless contributions, this retirement is certainly well deserved.

Congratulations, Julie, and thank you for 50 incredible years! We wish you nothing but the very best in this next chapter. You will be greatly missed by all of us! ❤️

Through our employee donation program, we were proud to help Alesha Buzzell send more snacks, supplies, and care packages to troops serving overseas — including her husband Matt’s fellow Maine Air National Guard members.

As we continue highlighting the causes that matter to our employees and their families, we recently met with Alesha and Matt Buzzell. Matt serves with the Maine Air National Guard and recently returned home from deployment.

While Matt was overseas, Alesha saw firsthand just how meaningful a few comforts from home could be. Knowing how many service members were deployed and in need of snacks and everyday supplies, she and other military spouses began shopping, collecting items at home, and putting together care packages to send overseas.

When Alesha brought this need to us, we were proud to help them go even further. Through our Employee Donation Fund, we were able to contribute $2,500 to help fund a shopping trip for additional snacks, supplies, and other items to include in the care packages for our troops.

And the support didn’t stop there! Wrap City Chips in New Hampshire generously donated and created 2.5 pallets of custom potato chips to include in the shipments. That’s a lot of chips headed overseas! 🥔

We hope this is only the beginning!

Last week, we were proud to make an employee donation to Penobscot Valley Hospital in support of their ongoing X-ray replacement campaign!
This contribution will help fund a new X-ray machine, providing Penobscot Valley Hospital with important, updated equipment to continue caring for patients throughout the community.
We’re proud of our employees and grateful for the opportunity to support an initiative that will make a meaningful difference for our neighbors. ❤️
