Today, we send a heartfelt thank-you to the Texas Rangers and Texas Highway Patrol for their courage, dedication and service to the people of Texas.

September 1, 1935, marked the beginning of the modern Texas Rangers under the newly created Department of Public Safety, alongside the Highway Patrol—a new chapter in Lone Star history!
