Loaded up some pops and bangs on a really clean Red GS, And dialing in the turbo tune for another Auto turbo build here in MD.

Picked up where I left off with patching the actual rom. I’ve patched most of the tables in, it’ll be about another day or two of work until I finish and actually start testing the patches out.
Adding some extra tables to this rom once I’m done as well!
It’s all coming together, feeling good about this Auto 3G big maps patch. Let’s see where it goes! This could be the end to Dual Ecus

I’m considering taking on the long term issue automatic guys have had for awhile when attempting to tune their turbo autos,
Map resolution.
Usually the maps are too small to tune effectively, although they can be tuned on a stock rom for boost, it’s definitely not preferable. We’ve had to resort to dual ecus for some time in order to tune effectively.
Now that I have another donor car on a stock auto ecu. I’m considering patching a stock ecu auto rom and including big maps and a few other functions. Sort of excited to be doing this and taking on an old issue that plagued the platform for a bit. I’ll keep updates and testing here.

This is the state the spare block sits in as of this moment, down to the Bare block.
No crank, no rods, no pistons. Ready for a complete overhaul. The block will be sent off shortly for O-rings, 1/2 head studs and a few other things before it’s reassembled as a 2.1L Long rod for the Hardtop eclipse.
Lots of cool stuff coming up.

New 3G getting some work soon,, as of now 100% stock. Will get a stock baseline dyno as well as a dyno after tune to see what we picked up. Then it’ll be time for some major modifications

My 470WHP Auto 3G will be hitting the dyno again on the 21st of this month to finish where I had left off. 470WHP 465Tq at 30 pounds.
This time around we’re upping the boost from 30 pounds up to 40 as well as adding in some more timing to confirm the 600HP goal I had set for the car.
With alot of headroom in the boost and timing department I have very high hopes that the car will easily achieve this goal.

Until then stay posted, there’ll be another boosted auto 3G hitting the dyno as well as a few naturally aspirated stuff that will be posted as well.
