Quick story if you have a sec!

Trying hard to stick to my business’s financial budget this year, I passed on the opportunity to purchase a full Ad in the Spring/Summer edition of Visit Baltimore. 🥺I was really in my feelings about this. I could have paid the $2500 from my personal account for the ad or hold out.😬 I held out.

There I was, thinking that for the entire summer, no travelers, no tourists, no would have my business’s contact info for the entire Spring summer.

Today, you will not believe one of the biggest connects reached out. With our smallest section on the Transportation Page , this converted to a sale and long term , high value partnership. No high res pics , no urls-Just the name and number all from my initial effort to simply sign up to become Partner last year.

The moral of this story is -do what you can , exactly how you can. Stick to your plan. The rest will find its way to you.

We’re midway of Q1. Jan was intense and Feb is still testing us. I am determined to stay focused, remain engaged in what I can do from my world.

Building my maritime resume has been my first priority this off season. I wanted to continue to build my foundational knowledge and understanding in this industry ; I wasn’t expecting this call.

Established in 1960, the Maryland Boat Act Advisory Committee’s purpose is to make recommendations to the Secretary of the Department of Natural Resources and have a variety of experience and expertise in boating related matters.

I am truly honored to have been selected to be apart of this committee and will be the voice on this journey.
