The electric truck/suv for $27k VS a hybrid modular vehicle platform for under $10k that can be a pickup truck, a sports car, or anything else you can imagine. Some plug & play accessories or a custom wrap will never compare in versatility/features/capabilities to a completely modular body, chassis, & drivetrain system. Its a no brainer really. I support competition in the industry but I just dont get the hype here. Not to mention the slate is a bare bones RWD with less than 200 miles range; while my base model comes with AWD & all the basic creature comforts as well as no range limitations... Am I missing something? It just seems a bit like a life size toy that doesn’t exactly equate to the price before incentives, which are likely going away very soon Lol. No hate either way, the slate looks cool in like a retro boxy kinda way. Just not my first choice & not yet really a serious solution that covers the fundamental needs of low cost personal transportation, in my opinion. Let me know what you think in the comments!

Did a little refresh to the website. Not 100% done yet but it’s got some cool AI generated content & an interactive 3D CAD model. Go check it out & tell me what you think in the comments!

Special thanks to all the companies who offer the parts/services that are helping me bring this concept to life! Crazy to think how this all started with my prototype vehicles the smart car & the Chrysler crossfire build. Completing this drivetrain test mule as well as working towards finishing its big brother the smart car build is all part of the components/systems to offer this platform as the ultimate kit car & eventually even a full production vehicle.

Check out the baby torque tube for the hybrid prototype test vehicle! Shown here in the app. This little beauty will mate the front modular section of the platform where the engine is to the middle modular section where the transmission & transfer case are, providing the last major step to a complete running & drivable platform. So exciting, after this install & some plumbing for the oil system we can begin run testing the hybrid version of this modular system. Install video for this tiny coming soon!

4 DOT approved tanks good for 5000psi all packaged up in a laser cut aluminum case. Laser/bent parts from the one & only . Plumbing these bad boys together & getting them mounted on the hybrid prototype test vehicle. Can anyone guess what these are used for on my new type of vehicle platform?

The first prototype of the platform (the all wheel drive v8 smart car build) uses the complete corvette suspension system. After tons of engineering I have developed a completely new, lighter & stronger suspension to use on the pre-production version of the platform I am currently building. As promised here is a first look at the ultra-light, all aluminum, fully adjustable, & fully symmetrical suspension the final production vehicle will have. Now fully mounted on the front modular section of the pre-production platform. More updates & further details coming soon. Cant wait to get this build on the ground & show you all what this suspension can do!
