WOW!!! JUST WOW!!!!

This morning We had the privilege to be a part of the Ballston Spa Ballston Spa Central School District "Smart Choices" DWI simulation for the outgoing seniors.

The mock crash involves two vehicles and 4 (real-life) victims. The Ballston Spa Fire Department, with trucks from both Eagle-Matt Lee Fire Co. #1 and Union Fire Company #2 demonstrate the entire process they go through in an effort to save lives (and what happens when they can't) during these tragic moments. They mimic the entire scenario from the initial 911 call to the point that Armer Funeral Home, Inc. comes to take away a fatality. They even demonstrate the arrest of the driver and have parents of the victim arrive on scene.

I was warned that this was an emotional and powerful display, but I never realized how powerful the message really was until seeing it first-hand and seeing some of the student reactions.

Thank you to the Ballston Spa Fire Department for allowing us to participate. Community Emergency Corps, LifeNet of New York, and Armer Funeral Home, Inc., saratoga Saratoga County Sheriff's Office, Ballston Spa Police Department for being involved in such a great event.

Michael's Automotive would like to congratulate all of the graduating seniors from Ballston Spa Central School District and wish them the best!!!!! Most importantly, STAY SAFE!!!!!!
