We would like to welcome Bluegrass BBQ to the Cashmere Crew. They have sponsored the JR checks for the 10/10 weekend. Top 3 in each class- Red Plate Trophy, JR 1, and JR 3 will all receive a trophy check to keep.

Bluegrass will also cater our Banquet in February this year. (More details to come). If you are in Pembroke or driving by, stop by and try their famous BBQ or pimento cheese sandwich and tell them Cashmere Crew sent you!

Thank you Bluegrass BBQ!!!

Flag stand expansion is complete minus a few minor details. Super excited for more room not only for our transponder ladies but other ideas on the horizon! Plus our drainage system has been updated. The back stretch is finally drying out. Super thankful to all the hands that have had a place in making Cashmere successful again.

Special thanks to Kelley Excavation and Wills Trucking for the pipe and excavation work!

UPDATE: thank you to everyone who reached out! I have a wonderful picture (he’s smiling 😉) thanks to some of his family members!

Attention in the pits: I am on the search for a good picture of Sonny Brown. I know most of our locals have frequented the track at some time or another growing up and would maybe have an old photo of Sonny I could use? Most pictures I have are side view or of him working and I would love to have one of him with his whole face. Doesn’t have to be at the track just a good profile photo. Thanks in Advance!
