This Saturday Golden Empire Messengers is participating in a run to support foster kids that have aged out of the system. The Dream Center helps these young adults by offering clothing, items for apartments, helps them prepare for job interviews. We would love to see you all there, but if you are unable to attend, maybe you would still be able to donate to this wonderful organization. Here is a flyer for the ride, along with a wish list that the Dream Center has put together for items they are in need of.

Golden Empire Messengers members attended the 911 memorial service held here in Bakersfield last night. What an honor to experience to be in the presence of such prayerful and reverent people. There was smiling in the pictures but there wasn't a dry eye in the house when roll was called.
God Bless America.

Last night six of our members did a church visit at Keepers of the Cross in Bakersfield. It is a ministry that focuses helping women turn their lives around and become strong women of God. The band was amazing and the message was one of encouragement, showing that God can do wonderful things in people who have hit rock bottom. We got to speak with the director who explained what all the ministry does, and to hear all about the lives of those who have been changed with their assistance and God’s hand and love. What an awesome God we have.
