Good afternoon *please share*
The plans for Don Mealer funeral will be
Sunday October 3rd
Basham Shafter Funeral Care
We plan on doing the memorial and celebration of life there till around 3pm

Then we will proceed on a short ride out shafted Hwy to main drain then back to 7th standard to Calloway back to the Greenacres Community Center near Rosedale Hwy

There we will be having food and drinks to celebrate the life of our father(probably Mexican food as it was his favorite lol)

ALL and we mean all are welcome to both events
All hog
All friends
All family
All that loved our dad

We do ask if you are not feeling well to please be respectful and wear a mask

Also please consider how much Dad loved Harley-Davidson and if you have shirts or gear please wear it !!!
He was not a suit and tie guy so that’s not what he would have wanted.

Hello Family and Friends,

This Daryl, Don's eldest son. I am here with a very heavy heart to let you all know My Dad passed away yesterday. My family and I are in shock and are trying to process this sudden loss..
My Dad was great man, he loved riding his harley, always making a plan for the next destination and of course he always a really loved a good joke.

If you have any pictures of your time with my Dad, Please share here or reach out me personally. Dad dearly loved his Hog family and his Facebook family and we are hoping you all have several memories to share of how Dad touched your life.
I will provide updates on a ride with services as soon as I am able.

Hi,this is Don, if any of you are looking for a honest and reasonable shop still, i'd like to recommend Collage Center Tire and Auto, they just moved from the east side to 911 Oak St., right next to Bootleggers. Greg is a long time friend and hi partner Dan have the same honest work ethic as Barnett Tire did. I go down there once in a while just to harass them and keep them in line, if you need any repairs or tires call me and i'll help you get set up 661-332-4475. Help them out if you can, they and I would appreciate it.

It is with deep sorrow that i have to announce that Barnett Auto and Tire service has closed it's doors. I personally would like to thank each and every one of you for following me to a place that is so hard to find, and to those that supported us in both locations. If yo have any questions feel free to call the shop number. Again i'd like to think I had the best customers in the world, you are all great people, I've come to know a lot of you on a more personal level, and I love it. Thanks again for the nearly 40yrs of being able to serve you to the very best of my ability. I hope to see you all out and about, here and there, i hope to be on that Blue Harley that we've all grown to know, wave and i'll try to wave back, good luck with all your automotive needs, and above everything else

Hello again everybody.
Once again it is the middle of September, and once again the Kern County Fair is in town.
So again do not worry about calling us for service, everyone else is at the fair...lol. We can probably get you right in for the service you need. Winter will be here before we know it, don't wait to get that car winterized, wiper,oil change, and make sure your cooling system is protected from the cold, Also remember for every 10 degrees of temperature loss your tires lose a lb of air, so if you have a TPMS in your vehicle, most likely you will be getting a Low Tire warning soon, bring it in, we can ck them. Good Wednesday morning everyone,aka first day back to school for the kiddo's i'm told. i want to help you with your car, does it need an oil change, brakes making a funny noise?. Have you had it's plugs and filters checked,do your tires need rotating, we can do it, check engine light on we can look at most of those, we can service your serviceable transmission( some aren't). On another note, my plan is to close early Wednesday take a few days off will return on Monday so if I don’t talk to you before then I hope everybody has a good Fourth of July. The plan is to go to Nevada, Utah, and Arizona,pray for no monsoons… LOL

Hello everybody, tomorrow July 1, 2019 I am changing the name of the shop kind of,we will be a DBA and it will be Barnett auto and tire service. Nothing else is really going to change I will make all of the necessary changes with all of the state entities this week

Last year i had several of my venders complain that they did not receive the payment that i had sent in, todayi was told why, a detective from BPD called just now and told me they did a bust on a home for cc fraud, and found 6 of my checks made out to various venders, they had not been cashed but he said they had all the stuff there to bleach the ink, and make it to someone else, he also said that recovered over 500 different checks from other company's, i got lucky, all my outgoing is now going straight to post office
