Hello, everyone!
I, Briah Linn Cravotta, am so excited to share the news that I was nominated and selected to be featured in June’s edition of Tow Times magazine as a Woman of Towing.
I have followed Tow Times magazine since I was a kid. From the days of dreaming of driving a truck to being a face in a magazine next to a truck we built. This experience is surreal to me. I’d never have imagined at 30 years old, I’d be recognized as the face of a company I’ve given my all to my entire life. I am very humble, and I don’t give myself the credit I should. I honestly don’t know how to act being the center of attention for something that means so much to me. Many people assume as a woman, I’m behind the scenes. It isn’t that way for me. I am hands on, learning, training, recovering, towing, and struggling out there with the rest of our industry, so I never really saw myself as anything special or out of the ordinary. I was just me doing what I knew to do.
I have worked as hard as I possibly could these past few years when I was put to the test. Life has thrown some curveballs at me, but I never gave up. I pushed harder and harder to prove to everyone that I can do this. And to be recognized for that from such a large platform in the towing industry worldwide is mind blowing to me. It’s honestly emotional. Some people doubted me. Some people still do. But I believed in myself, even when I wasn’t totally sure. I gave 150% when others only had to give 50%. It’s hard being a woman in this field, but I NEVER let that be a crutch for me. I just see myself as “another one of the guys” doing what they love to do.
For those of you that know me personally, you know that this has been my passion since I was walking and talking. For those of you that don’t, please take the time to know me and let this small snippet of my life show you how much this all means to me. This is my destiny, and I truly am so grateful for each and every person who has supported our business, our family generations, and me to this day. If it wasn’t for my family, my husband, my friends, our communities, our first responders, and our customers, this never would’ve been possible.
I love each and every one of you, and I truly thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Please know this isn’t just a job to me. This is my lifestyle. This is what I love. This is what I was born to do. Thank you for supporting our business for the last 41 years, and I hope that you all will allow me to continue to service you for years to come 💙
