Never forget 🇺🇸

This piece was inspired by a drawing I created for the 10th anniversary of 9/11. I found myself returning to that same idea again — not to recreate it, but because the meaning behind it still felt just as important.

Twenty-five years later, the images still carry the same weight.

The loss.
The smoke.
The silence.
The people who ran toward what everyone else was running from.

9/11 was a story of people standing shoulder to shoulder — firefighters, police officers, EMS, dispatchers, Port Authority officers, construction workers, volunteers, and countless others, doing whatever they could for the person beside them.

There was unimaginable loss that day, but there was also extraordinary courage, compassion, and hope.

Twenty-five years later, our responsibility is the same: remember the lives, remember the responders, remember the families, and remember what it looked like when people stood together.

Shoulder to shoulder.

Always.
