Park Update for Our Residents & Community
You may have noticed a zoning notice posted at the front of the park and had some questions about what’s going on. We wanted to take a minute to keep everyone informed.
We are working with the city on a Planned Development (PD) update that gives us flexibility for the future of the park. This includes the ability to:
• Add a limited number of high-quality cabins over time
• Enhance the property with additional amenities for residents
• Continue improving the overall look, feel, and long-term value of the park
This is not a major overhaul or density increase—it’s about upgrading and investing in what we already have so we can continue providing a clean, quiet, and well-maintained community that everyone enjoys.
As always, our focus remains on maintaining the standards, atmosphere, and quality that brought you here in the first place.
If you have questions, feel free to reach out directly—we’re happy to talk through it.
Under the current Planned Development (PD) that’s been in place for 20+ years, the property is very limited. It technically only allows for:
• Up to 48 RV spaces
• No additional cabins or structures
• No new awnings, porches, or similar improvements for RVs
• No ability to add or upgrade amenities
Even though there are existing cabins and other features on the property that have been built over the past 20+ years, the current PD does not allow us to modify, improve, or add to them moving forward.
What we are doing now is working with the city to update the PD so it actually reflects the reality of the property and allows us to:
• Maintain and improve what already exists
• Add high-quality cabins in a controlled manner
• Introduce additional amenities over time
• Continue investing in the park instead of being restricted from improving it
This is about creating flexibility and protecting the long-term quality of the park, not increasing density or changing the character of the community.
