We at Midsota, a division of Novae LLC, have come quite a long way from our roots of a welding company started in a garage in Albany, Minnesota in 1971. Initially called Sands Welding Incorporated, the company was renamed in 2002 to Midsota Manufacturing Inc. and was well on its way to the company it is today. Midsota Manufacturing began to grow and recognized the need for company expansion. In 20
05, the company was moved to a larger facility Avon, MN. Continued growth again had Midsota busting at the seams in their 404 County Road 50 facility in Avon. In May of 2014, Midsota purchased a second facility in Avon directly across Interstate 94 from their current location. In 2018, Midsota completed construction on another facility at their newly purchased site. These 2 expansions have added over 80,000 square feet of manufacturing space. Midsota now uses all three facilities to manufacture some of the best trailers in the industry! Midsota has continually improved, automating the production process with state of the art equipment and knowledgeable employees. Today, there are over 125 extremely loyal and skilled employees which is one of the major strengths of Midsota. In 2020, Midsota was acquired by Novae Corp., the second largest trailer manufacturing group in North America. With this partnership, Midsota will continue to be the leader in changing with the dynamic trailer industry. The goal for the coming years is to continue producing high quality innovative products, while still keeping the small business feel and customer satisfaction that started 50 years ago.
