🚨 REMEMBER THE TRANSMISSION WITH BLACK, BURNT FLUID? WE FOUND THE PROBLEM! 🔧

In Part 1, we showed you an 8L90 transmission experiencing shifting problems, with black transmission fluid and a burnt odor.

One of our followers suggested that replacing the solenoids might fix the issue. 🤔

Well… here’s what we actually found! 👀

⚙️ A BROKEN TRANSMISSION DRUM!

During the teardown, our technicians discovered internal mechanical damage that a simple solenoid replacement wouldn’t fix.

💡 THE LESSON?

Not every transmission shifting problem is caused by faulty solenoids. Sometimes, the real issue is hiding deep inside the transmission.

That’s why proper diagnostics matter!
At Martinez Auto Repair, we don’t believe in guessing or replacing parts unnecessarily. We believe in identifying the problem and recommending the right repair.

🔧 Real problems. Real diagnostics. Real solutions.

⚠️ The vehicle was experiencing shifting problems.

These are warning signs of excessive heat and possible internal transmission damage.

A) Internal clutch damage
B) Excessive overheating
C) Internal component failure
D) All of the above
