S&S Towing, which stands for Schroeder & Son's, was started in the beginning of 2018 in Austin, MN by father-son duo Ron Schroeder & Jared Heien. Ron has a history of towing experience dating back more than 2 decades, as did his dad, Terrance "Casey" Schroeder before him. Ron was the former owner Schroeder’s Towing of Brownsdale (see more below), which later moved to Austin back in the 1990’s. Jar

ed has always wanted to be a part of the towing industry since he was a child when he rode along on many tows in the middle of the night with his dad. They decided it was time to get back into business and give their community another option for roadside assistance. After almost 5 years of serving Austin, everyone in town knows our iconic pink and green tow trucks, and fantastic customer service! Our office is located at 401 1st Ave SW, 2 blocks south of Austin High School. S&S Towing offers the safest towing services in town! Look “who” we found on the side of the interstate recently.

Trooper Vu Nguyen rescued this owl on the right shoulder of Interstate 35E in St. Paul. He safely covered it with his jacket, brought it into his squad and met up with a DNR officer so it could get proper care.
