Due to tomorrow’s premium, factory-fresh icy road conditions, we’ve decided it’s best for everyone (customers, employees, and innocent mailboxes everywhere) to stay off the roads.
If your car slides sideways just pulling out of the driveway… yeah, it’s not a good shop day.
So we’ll be closed tomorrow while the ice does its thing. We’ll be back once the roads stop trying to turn your commute into a demolition derby.

Today and tomorrow (feb 20-21) were doing brake job for 160.00* tax included and coolant flushes for 90.00** tax included.

* brakes price is per axle for most cars and trucks. Includes new pads and resurfacing rotors or drums. Other parts will cost extra.
** most cars and trucks. includes running a cleaner through the system. Drain system and fill with new coolant. Does not include any additional parts.

If you dont know, this is lugnut the clown. Back in the 80's, my dad would take me to Longhorn speedway near bergstrom airforce base (now austin airport). He would come out between races and spin around in his little car and throw candy to us kids. Watching the cars go around and the enjoyment of lugnut the clown is what got me into being a car enthusiast. Years later I had the amazing opportunity to open my own shop after 10 years of working for others in austin. I named it lugnuts. About 3 years after opening, lugnut the clown called me to ask how I came up with the name. Not knowing who was on the other end, I told my story. He then said he was lugnut the clown. We talked for bit about the past and longhorn speedway. He was very proud of me and was happy that he had such an impact on someone's life like that. It was great to talk to the guy that got me so involved in this industry. The name remains in austin. I want to thank everyone for supporting my business and hope to see yall for many more years.
