The ideal candidate will have a Previous Experience as a Flat Glass Film Installation Tech, Valid Texas Drivers License, Clean Driving Record, Good Communication Skills, Time Management Skills and Strong Work Ethic.

The position requires travel to job sites in a company vehicle provided for your use. You will install some jobs on your own and other jobs with the Installation Crew mainly throughout the Austin Metro area and surrounding communities. Occasionally our Crew travels outside of our main service area to locations within Texas and even other states. Our Crew typically works Monday - Friday from 7:30 - 5:30 with time for lunch. There are occasional jobs which require that our Crew work evenings & weekends but we do our best to avoid those situations.

We are the oldest company of our kind in Austin with a well established, successful reputation. We pride ourselves in providing a steady, family oriented work environment. Our employee turn-over rate is very low and most of our team members have been with us for over 15 years with some 20 + years. We stay busy year round servicing many well-known general contractors & glass companies as well as taking care of a robust amount of retail jobs direct to businesses & home owners.

Sun Tint needs Helpers for our Flat Glass Window Tint & Window Film Installation Crew.

Experience in the Flat Glass Window Tint & Window Film Industry is a plus but we are prepared and expect to provide On-the-Job Training to the right person.

This week, Sun Tint's Automotive Team worked on a vehicle for America's Got Talent Extreme via Austin Speed Shop!

Not exactly sure what's in store for this old hearse... but per request, we installed 10 mm Safety Film on the outside of the front windshield and installed another layer of 6 mm Safety Film on the inside of the front windshield.

I suspect something "extreme" is definitely in store!

We're going to Hollywood!!!
Well... actually... Hollywood came to Austin!
That's right, we're talking American Idol!
And, they needed Window Film!
So, they called Sun Tint! Of course!
We installed Solar Control Film on all the Exterior Windows to keep out the effects of that awesome Texas sun: heat & glare.

The one showing the Idol Judges is of the cinematographers viewing screen... you know... that's how the cinematographer makes sure everyone & everything (including our fabulous window film) looks gorgeous!
Yes, we are Stars now...
Oh and they offered Eric one of the Judges positions!
But, he told them he'd rather stay and work with Sun Tint because it's much more exciting and glamorous! Ha!

Due to the Weather Forecast of Extended, Below Freezing Temperatures, Sun Tint will be closed on Monday, 2/15. Freshly installed Window Film cannot cure properly when the water we use during the installation process freezes before it can evaporate! We will resume normal operations on Tuesday, 2/16. Stay safe & warm everyone!
