The only accurate way to detect a weak battery is with professional equipment. However, most motorists can perform routine care: Wear eye protection and protective rubber gloves. Scrape away corrosion from posts and cable connections; clean all surfaces; retighten all connections. If battery caps are removable, check fluid level monthly. A word of caution: Removal of cables can cause damage or loss of data/codes on some newer vehicles, so always check your owner’s manual first. Be sure to avoid contact with corrosive deposits and battery acid.

The CEO is very unimpressed by a locust shell, andddd My truck died exiting i35 in rush hour. No codes. I figured my tool bags must have tripped the inertia switch. The switch felt pretty warm, but whatevs, rolled on. It died again 5mins later, switch tripped, but nothing around to trip it this time. Arrived at my destination to discover the connector was actually a smore. Perfectly normal. Good thing they used the same switch in a million vehicles bc it's not avail locally otherwise. I got it+ pigtail out of a MazdaTribute at salvage. @ Yes We Can Auto Repair

It is hotter than Georgia asphalt out here already! I feel like I've been in a sauna since the sun came up. The CEO(noshebetterdon't) is sitting in the truck with the a/c on Arctic Blast.
Who wants to take me to their favorite swimming hole later this afternoon when I finish these cars? I have not been swimming yet this year, and desperately need to remedy that.
