The best modifications don’t always announce themselves.

This 718 Cayman came to us for a collection of upgrades designed around one goal: make the car better without losing what made it a Porsche in the first place.

For protection, we installed a fully integrated Es**rt Redline 360ci radar and laser system. Up front, the sensors disappear into custom-built pods within the factory grille openings. In the rear, we took concealment even further, hiding the sensors behind a custom license plate frame using infrared-transparent plexiglass, allowing the system to function while remaining completely out of sight.

Inside, the display was integrated into a custom overhead pod, while the controller was tucked neatly into the ashtray. No exposed displays. No unnecessary clutter.

We then turned our attention to the car itself.

H&R lowering springs and fresh Michelin tires sharpen the stance and handling, while a Fabspeed exhaust gives the Cayman a more appropriate voice. GT4-style side scoops and a rear diffuser were color matched to the factory paint for an almost OEM appearance.

Finally, a few carefully placed red details tie everything together: painted brake calipers, red rear PORSCHE lettering and matching red seat belts.

Nothing here was intended to overpower the car.

Just a lot of thoughtful changes that make an already great Cayman feel a little more special, and uniquely its owner’s.

Black on black… with just enough Acid. 🟢

This Porsche Panamera e-hybrid got the stance it deserved with a lowered suspension and a set of 22” Vossen HFX-4 wheels finished in gloss black.

The black-on-black combination keeps everything sleek and understated, while those factory Acid Green calipers hit hard through the open-spoke Vossens.

Clean. Low. Properly fitted.

Some cars come to us for a complete transformation. Others just need the right problem solved.

This Ferrari California T belongs to a longtime client who has trusted us with a number of his vehicles over the years. Already sitting right on HRE wheels, lowering springs and XPEL Stealth PPF, it came back to Driven with a failed display in the factory instrument cluster.

The Ferrari solution? Replace the entire cluster.

Instead, we replaced only the failed display, retaining the original cluster and getting everything functioning properly again.

While it was here, we also addressed another known weak point on the California T, repairing and upgrading the paddle shifter mechanism for improved reliability.

Not every visit needs to be a major build.

Part of taking care of our clients and their collections is knowing when to modify, when to repair, and when there’s simply a better solution than replacing an entire assembly.

And this one certainly didn’t need much help looking good.

A cleaner take on the Raptor R.

We gave this truck a full monochromatic painted trim package using BASF paint materials in our in-house paint facility.

The front bumper, rear bumper, fender flares, and grille surround were all color-matched to the factory white, replacing much of the contrasting trim and giving the truck a more cohesive, finished look.

The goal wasn’t to reinvent the Raptor R, just refine it.

The factory graphics, dark grille details, and signature R accents still give it plenty of attitude, but the painted trim makes the entire truck look more intentional from every angle.

Subtle changes. Big difference.

Built to be driven. Protected for the journey.

This hot-rodded Porsche 911 blends the unmistakable character of an air-cooled classic with the stance, sound and attitude of a purpose-built restomod.

Ahead of a mountain rally, we prepared the car with Xpel full-body paint protection film to help defend the finish from the realities of the road, a fresh set of tires suited to the conditions, and a discreetly integrated radar detector. We also added discreetly hidden USB charging ports, bringing a little modern convenience to the cabin without distracting from its purpose-built interior.

With the rally complete, the car’s evolution continues. It will return to its summer tire setup, along with a carefully integrated audio system designed to complement the driving experience rather than compete with the character of the car.

Because a build like this is never truly finished. It continues to evolve through the places it goes, the miles it covers and the way its owner enjoys it.

Satin. Gloss. Turbonite.

Sometimes it’s not about adding more, it’s about choosing the right details.

In collaboration with our friends at Austin Film Solutions, this Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT received a full XPEL Stealth PPF transformation, giving the factory paint a rich satin finish while providing long-term protection.

To complete the look, we refinished the factory wheels in gloss black, custom painted the brake calipers in Porsche yellow at the owner’s request, and updated the factory crest to Porsche’s new Turbonite emblem. Individually, each change is subtle. Together, they create a completely different presence.

This is what happens when every detail has a purpose.

A Ferrari deserves more than a tire shop.

A new 21”/22” wheel and tire package has completely transformed the stance of this Ferrari 812 Superfast, but the real story is how those wheels were installed.

Every wheel is mounted on our Corghi Artiglio Master 28 touchless tire changer, one of the most advanced tire mounting systems in the industry. Its leverless design is engineered to safely mount today’s ultra-low-profile performance tires while minimizing the risk of damage to expensive wheels.

Once mounted, each wheel and tire assembly is analyzed on our Corghi Eyelight Diagnostic Balancer. Using advanced laser scanning technology, the Eyelight measures the wheel and tire as an assembly, allowing us to optimize the installation with a level of precision that traditional balancing methods simply can’t match.

From mounting and balancing to alignment, every step is performed in-house using equipment selected specifically for today’s most valuable performance vehicles. It’s the same class of wheel service equipment trusted by some of the world’s most demanding manufacturers, and it’s the standard we bring to every vehicle that enters our shop, whether it’s a Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, or a daily driver.

This 812 has been evolving with us over time, and its latest chapter is a wheel package that perfectly complements the existing Novitec suspension while giving the car an even more purposeful stance.

600 horsepower deserves more than a detail… it deserves a vision.

This Hennessey VelociRaptor 600 came to Driven By Design for the finishing touches that separate an incredible truck from a truly personalized one.

We protected the entire truck in XPEL Stealth PPF, transforming the gloss white finish into a clean satin look while adding years of protection against the elements.

The factory Ford Performance carbon fiber hood vent, fender vents, and tailgate trim were refinished in BASF UV-resistant clear coat to preserve their depth and keep the carbon looking as good years from now as it does today.

Inside, we installed a complete Audiotec Fischer premium audio system engineered to deliver exceptional sound quality without compromising factory integration.

Then came the details…
• Mild de-badging for a cleaner, more purposeful appearance
• Satin black powder-coated skid plate
• Red powder-coated tow hooks to complement the Hennessey brakes
• Every finish carefully selected to enhance, not overpower the original design.
