This 6.1 came in averaging 346 WHP on the dyno. After dialing it in with a custom Vazquez Tuning Dyno Tune, it rolled out making 401 WHP! 💪🔥

This 2004 Silverado 5.3L came in with long-tube headers, a Y-pipe, and exhaust—but its baseline numbers were lower than average.

📉 Average baseline: 184 WHP
📈 Tuned power: 226 WHP
🔥 Gain: 42 WHP

🔥 LS SWAP 5.3 — DO YOU REALLY NEED A TUNE?

Can you run a stock 5.3 LS swap with just a VATS delete? Yes. If the setup is basically stock, it can run and drive with just VATS removed.

But does that mean you’re getting everything out of the swap? 👀

A proper custom calibration allows us to dial in the setup and get the most out of the engine. In this video, we put it to the test on the dyno — baseline vs. tuned 📈
