Entry Fees:
Regular race-- $12 first class/$8 each add'l class
Trophy race-- $20 first class/$10 each add'l class

Classes & Rules:

Mudboss-- Traxxas slash 2WD chassis, No LCG, Titan 12T motor, 5200 50C battery, Traxxas tires only, no tire prep, Salvas body, no SC mod bodies or cow catchers, remote may be changed, aluminum shocks and hub carriers may be used. AE Street Stock-- box stock, 5200

50C battery, remote can be changed, Rebar tires may be used, 18-24 pinion gear, 87 spur gear. B Mod-- buggy base chassis, no adjustable rear arms, Rebar tires, ROAR 17.5 motor, blinky mode

SC Mod-- DODC chassis and body, open tire, ROAR 13.5 motor.

360 Sprint-- DODC chassis and body, open tire, ROAR 13.5 motor.

410 Sprint-- DODC chassis and body, open tire, open motor

Latemodel-- DODC chassis and body, open tire, ROAR 10.5 motor

Midwest Mod--DODC chassis and body, open tire, ROAR 10.5 motor

It was definitely a hot one outside for the last race of the year but inside the barn stayed comfortable. The outside temperature almost matched our car count of 102 🤣. This season we broke our record for number of cars and drivers and Holly entered new racers in the computer each race. We are so thankful for all of you that support our track and spend your Saturday's racing with us.
We already have some updates planned for the track and will be doing some Facebook Lives to keep you updated.
Many of you have asked for some summer races. We are still working on some dates so stay tuned!

Can you believe the forecast for tomorrow's race? 🤯
We will have all the doors open and plenty of water on the track.
Going to grill hamburgers for lunch since it's so nice and Holly will have extra help in the concession stand.
Since it's the last race of this season, Holly says there will be a Concession stand clearance on chips, candy, and pop.
Holly has made more koozies with the track logo that are available for purchase.
Trophies will be awarded for those in the top 3 for points right after the race.

Last race of this season (March 21st) looks to be a nice day! If you are currently in the top 3 in points, you will want to make sure you attend to be able to take one of these home with you.

He's finally smiling because we are heading home. He's now without a gallbladder. Good riddance to that thing! It decided to flare up not once but twice this week-- thankfully after The Battle in the Barn! He's been in the hospital since yesterday morning and finally had surgery this afternoon around 2pm.
He got the track aerated Wednesday night so it will be ready for the last race of the season.
We are still racing on March 21st. Hope to see you then!

2026 Battle in the Barn-- Wow! What an awesome race! They say "it takes a village" to be successful in a lot of things. Well, our village has grown with some of the most amazing people we are privileged to call our race family.
182 cars, 83 drivers, and 19,226 laps on Saturday.
91 cars and 42 drivers for the Friday night Rumble's practice time.
A huge shout out to our son, Jonah Jensen, for coordinating the sponsorships for the raffle.
Thank you to all of our sponsors. We truly appreciate your generosity and love for our track. Your donations help us make upgrades to the track and keep the doors open year and year. We are hoping to make some exciting changes for next year.
Thank you to everyone that attended, bought raffle tickets, enjoyed the food in the concession stand, and made this our best attended event so far.
Last race of the season is March 21st. This is a points race. Trophies will be awarded that day.

Battle in the Barn info

Friday night--
Doors open at 6pm.
Get registered ASAP
Racing will start at 7pm
You must be registered to be on the track.
How racing will go will be determined by the number of cars registered. May not be a heat and a Main.
Doors close at 10pm.
Pulled pork sandwiches provided by Chris and Nancy Zelasney .

Saturday--
Doors open at 8am
You must be registered to be on the track.
Class specific hot laps start at 8:30am
*Classes will be teched prior to the start of that race. Those include: Street Stock, 305 Sprint, 17.5 LM, Losi Sprint, Traxxas Modified, and Traxxas Latemodel. Additional classes may be added at race owners discretion. Rules in the comments for easy access.
Racing will start at 10am.
Breakfast burritos available in the concession stand in the morning.
Walking tacos and rootbeer chicken sandwiches available for lunch and supper along with the regular items.

Raffle tickets available for purchase during registration and throughout the day. Tickets will be drawn before the Mains start. Silent auction items will be available to bid on all day Saturday. Auction will close right before the Mains.

You can register ahead by sending a message to the track page. Please DO NOT text or message Rob or Jonah with your entries. Holly is the one that handles the entries and has access to this track page messenger.
Cash, Venmo, CashApp, and PayPal are accepted. You can pay when you get there if you pre-register.
