I hate admitting defeat, and John not making the BF / Franks show with this bike, so does anyone have a starter jack shaft and coupler for a 73’-77’ FL I’m pretty sure it’s the 7” not the earlier 6.5”, that’s within a couple hours from me? It’s something I didn’t get into on this bike, as you don’t have to pull the clutch basket or inner primary to seal the primary, but I guess I should have cause it ran, then went to start it again and it’s not jack shafting now. I know it’s a long shot, cause “old bike things”

Got Mike Garofalo CVO Breakout Prostreet wrapped up. It came in with a chain rub on the tire. We worked with Vulcan to get the spacing right. While in the primary we found a failed hydraulic tensioner, and replaced it with a PSR manual tensioner. Mikes a big ass dude, but the clutch pull was ungodly rough, so we upgraded to a Rekluse slave cylinder to make it more manageable at break neck speeds.

This isn’t your average Breakout. Joey Wells over at Shop 67 built and tuned the 124” twin cam in this thing, and it’s an absolute monster. It’s hands down the quickest twin cam I’ve ever ridden, and smooth as a stock 110. I can’t speak highly enough about how well his parts work. If you want the most out of your Harley, he’s the dude to get your big bore kits and cams from. Words cannot describe the way this bike pulls.

Sorting out some spacing on a chain drive conversion done elsewhere. Found a bad primary tensioner as well (it happens, no one’s fault but time) replacing it with a manual adjuster so things stay put behind this 170+ hp monster.

Stopped by A1 Cycles.net to do some unscheduled maintenance on Eric Bergdoll bike, Mike and crew rule. Seeing their cranks made first person was cool, as was chopping it up with them and checking out the top fuel bike and his softtail. Met the rest of the fellas at wheels thru time. Very cool place!
