Tork Motorsports We build street cars you drive at the track, not race cars you drive on the street!

We have a full fabrication facility to build the mild to wild performance vehicle. Everything from 4 axis CNC mill, mig, tig and stick welding, full powder coating set up, engine building services... more or less everything to MFG the best part for your car. We pride ourselfs in being able to built a 400 - 1000 HP car that you can drive daily and rely on.

I should have put this welder to use years ago. Fabricating tonight and ran out of stainless steel on the primary MIG welder, and I had a spool of wire loaded in the double pulse synergic welder, so... had to get products finished.

I have not worked with this welder much due to the massive amounts of programming that it takes, but tonight I decided it was time to put the most expensive welder in the shop to work.

I wish I would have done this sooner because this thing really welds fast and clean.

I have more welding to do and getting more products put the door!

Ok... not sure what KIA and Hyundai are doing, but... these xlurches with the same part number not working or fittinginto the vehicles is nuts.

Ling story short, I have purchased the latest (brand new) DCT clutch from Hyundai and it doesn't fit. So, I buy 3 used clutches, all new part numbers, still don't fit.

Check the trans ID, it's correct.

Call the Hyundai hot-line, oh... that build date and trans ID requires you to buy a new transmission? Wait, WTF? So, what do I do with the perfectly good transmission that I have, their answer... "Oh, we have a core charge, we want it back."

Wait, so... is this why so many yransmissions get condemned by KIA and Hyundai when they go to the dealers and repair shops?

This doesn't sit right with me, so... Tork Motorsports is going to do a deep dive into this issue and see if we can figure out a solution. One solution that has already been verified (thank you Korean repair shops) is to take the smart stream clutch and retro fit that into the older 1.6 turbo applications. I guess there is some grinding or what not, but... this may be how we attack this.

The DCT upgrade from us is working great in one our of 3 cars, sadly I have to figure out how to match the trans and clutch assembly to get it working properly. Reason being, the VIN number is not working for all the applications.

We will be updating everyone soon on this fiasco!

Check this... the timeliness with local machine shops was insane and slowing us down so, what does John do? Buy's valve grinder and says "I got this", how's that for valve runout :)

When you spend 40 hours dialing in a 70 year old machine for your customers, it feels great when it's a success!

Long story short, I cannot get anyone on the west coast to touch a Fiat head. They all seem to be confused or nervous about the MultiAir design and trying to figure out valve lash (rightfully so). Spent 2 months trying to convince machine shops to do them, and instead of convincing them, we bought the equipment to do them ourselves.

However, a 70 year old machine needs some work. 40 hours later, we have .00029 of valve face runout! Will not get into the details, but... we will be getting all the work done in house now for all our cylinder heads!

A Personal Update from Tork Motorsports

To our Tork Motorsports customers,
We wanted to take a moment to personally reach out to everyone who has trusted us with their cars, parts, tuning, and projects.
Over the past several months, Gina and I have been hit with a lot personally. We've experienced multiple deaths in our family, dealt with health issues, and had several other difficult situations happen all at once—including the theft of our youngest daughter's first car.

Unfortunately, while we were dealing with everything life was throwing at us, we fell behind.

Our communication suffered. Some parts and projects took longer than they should have. Emails and messages didn't always get answered as quickly as they deserved to be, and in some cases we simply weren't providing the level of customer service that we expect from ourselves.

Regardless of the circumstances, we recognize that. And we sincerely apologize to anyone who was affected.

The good news is that Tork Motorsports is back to 100% operating capacity.

We're working hard every day to get completely caught up on existing orders, projects, tuning, and communication. More importantly, we're putting systems in place to make sure we don't find ourselves in this position again.

And rather than just tell you that things are back to normal, we're going to show you.
You're going to see a lot more activity from us online—shop updates, new products, technical content, dyno testing, project builds, installation videos, and a behind-the-scenes look at what we're working on every day.

There is a tremendous amount happening at Tork Motorsports right now, and we're excited about where we're headed.

For those of you who stuck with us and showed patience and understanding during an incredibly difficult period in our lives, we cannot thank you enough.

For anyone we frustrated, disappointed, or left waiting longer than you should have, we hear you. We're working to make it right.
Tork Motorsports has been built over many years around something that Gina and I genuinely love: cars, performance, engineering, and helping people build something they're excited about.

That hasn't changed.

We're here. We're working. We're getting caught up. And we're excited to show you what's coming next.

Sorry about any delays people are suffering, we had an extended family member pass last week, causing some disruptions in Tork Motorsports communications with customers. We are getting back at it middle of this week.

On a side note. Hug your loved ones, send that message, just call to say hi. Why? Because at 47 years old and perfect health, and no medical complications, people close to you can just be gone the next day.
