Boy, have we been busy! Even though it can be overwhelming at times, I couldn’t be anymore thankful for all of your support! With 7 techs and 7 lifts, we have honestly already outgrown our new shop. If you have an unexpected breakdown or need services right away, we can still get you in but I would recommend to make an appointment ahead of time when possible.

I’m heading back to Colombia this weekend for my 2nd round of stem cells at BioXcellerator. I’ll be there for another week but I’m most likely going to be out for an additional week or two like the 1st round. Like I stated in my last post, they said the 2nd round can be even worse than the 1st, plus I’m getting more work done this time. Have I improved at all, yes some, but I have still have a ways to go.

Kenny will be back upfront with Angel while I’m out. Remember that all of our work is covered under warranty, and that if there is ever a problem to just let us know. Minus faulty new parts, we don’t have many vehicles return after-service with issues. Unfortunately, sometimes things happen but know that we will make it right. The car business isn’t easy and I give anyone credit who does it.

On another note, this November will be our 25th Anniversary! I’m honestly in awe that I just typed that. Maybe we should have a party this summer? Let me know what you are thinking..

Man, I’m really bad at keeping in touch on here.
I figured now would be a good time to catch up. If you have been at the shop in the last two weeks then you probably noticed I wasn’t there.

As some of you know, I have MS, 26 years now. It’s been a struggle to say the least and it’s grown consistently more difficult, as the years have gone by. I finally decided to take a chance at something I’ve been planning for years.

So, on 9/13 an old friend of mine flew down to BioXcellerator in Medellin, Colombia with me. Funny name huh, lol. Between IV’s and a spinal injection, they put over 210 million stem cells in me along with other therapies. Not gonna lie, the spinal injection kicked my ass. The clinic informed me that this can be typical and other patients that we talked to also confirmed this.

Today is 9/24 and I’m starting to feel better. This whole process is going to take time and I’m planning on going back down there in 6 months for round 2. I’m hoping to be back to the shop by next week.

The earlier pictures are from 11/16/21. We closed on the shop this week. The trees came down the next day. The parking lot was extended today.

So incase you can’t tell in the first pic, that’s me and she wasn’t wrong. This was early September ‘21. I was still 2 months away from closing on the new shop, but once I saw the potential in this property, I went after it.

Back and forth for a while, only to have it fade away. I let it go and it came back. We ended up closing on it yesterday! I’m like a little kid on Christmas excited over this!

Expanded parking, tree removal and lot expansion is on deck. I still have every intention on building a new shop.

Again, thank you to all of our customers who have supported and trusted us for all of these years!

Xcelerated will be 23 years old this November and we’re just getting started!

Last November we needed help. As of today, we finally now have 6 full time Technicians and a Service Writer.

We are actually starting to get caught up. Something I don’t know if I’ve ever been able to say. This allows us to be able to take more walk ins. It’s still better to schedule ahead of time, but if something pops, we are in better position than ever to get you in and out as soon as possible.

December 3rd, 2002 I was 21 and it was the first day I walked in the door of our shop on 191 Grant Ave! 20 years!

It’s been one hell of a ride! The ”car problems” I’ve absorbed and gotten through are hard for me to put into words, to say the least! You have to be borderline mentally insane to be in this business at our level! What can I say, I’m a car guy..

My employees and customers mean far more to me than those titles! You all are my friends and an extension of my family! We take great pride in the trust our customers have with us; not only with their automotive investment, but with their lives, their families lives, and anyone out on the road!

On 10/27/20 I put up a post and said that I would keep in touch more. Since then there’s only been one post. To say that things have been busy would be a huge understatement. Not only in the shop but in my personal life, as many of you already know. I’ve tried to write something down multiple times but I just couldn’t do it.

It’s been a long time since I’ve brought the new shop up so let me fill you all in. If you have been around then you might of heard but after the economic impacts from Covid I had to cancel construction. It became out of reach and I wasn’t going to stick my head out any further than I already was. After all of these years and everything it took to get to this point it was tough to make that call. This is probably why I was having a hard time coming up with a post.

Either way we had to move forward. Another opportunity came so I took it. My purchase offer was accepted in May of last year and we finally closed in November. We are going to be moving up the street to 102 Grant Ave. It’s the old Aamco Transmission shop across the street from Kosta’s Restaurant.

We have been in the process of cleaning everything up and equipping the shop. We’re still probably a couple of months away but we are progressing well. I’ll talk with you all soon.

Well, hello there..

Sorry for being so distant. I’ve been back to the shop for around 4 months or so, most of the time..

Moving forward, I’m planning to use this page more on a personal level, because I look at all of you, our customers, as an extension of my family, so why not keep in touch more. Your trust in Xcelerated Auto is greatly appreciated and you are thought of after you leave.
