Mainers, we're on the road again! This time we headed over to Donatelli's Tailor Shop on the east end of Portland. The Donatelli family has deep ties throughout Portland, and we got to chat about some of his favorite memories growing up. After over 50 years, Donatelli's Tailor Shop still brings the same sense of community to Munjoy Hill that it did back in the 70's and 80's. Stay tuned to see where we go next month!

The Health and safety of our customers and employees is of the highest concern at Lee Auto Malls and we recognize that these are trying and stressful times for our customers. As the Coronavirus continues to spread throughout Maine we wanted to advise you what steps we are taking to ensure the safety of our customers and staff.

Lee Auto Malls will maintain normal sales and service operations until advised otherwise by Maine health officials. We are actively taking the following steps to ensure the safety and well-being of the people in our communities:
• We have enacted a strict hand-washing protocol that requires employees to wash with soap and water or sanitize hands frequently.
• Employees have been directed to avoid shaking hands and to practice social distancing by standing six feet from customers whenever possible.
• Hand sanitizer and boxes of tissues are available throughout all of our dealerships
• Our hard-working cleaning staffs have been directed to treat all work surfaces with proper disinfectants and to take extra care in disinfecting high-traffic areas
• We conduct periodic wipe-downs of the interior of vehicles in the showroom and demos before and after test drives using anti-bacterial wipes
• Service employees are wearing gloves when inside customer vehicles, and we’ve initiated a protocol to sanitize vehicles before returning them to customer
Any employee who is sick is directed to stay home, and any employees who appear ill will immediately be sent home.
In addition, we have added At-Home Services for your convenience – please call your local Lee location for details:
• Flexible and transparent negotiation of a new or used vehicle purchase from the comfort of your own home. You can buy a car while without personal contact with our staff! All aspects of your purchase can be handled remotely.
• Schedule an at-home or solo test drive
• Free delivery with any vehicle purchase
• Complimentary pickup and delivery for service or maintenance

So happy for Make-A-Wish Maine!

Today our Lee Auto Malls Chairman Adam Lee presented Kate Vickery, the Executive Director of Make-A-Wish Maine, with the $10,000 check from our non-profit sweepstakes!

And of course, a very special shout out goes to Tammy Liberty who chose Make-A-Wish as the deserving non-profit.

We are incredibly excited for them to put that money to amazing use for the children of Maine and Kate already has some wonderful ideas on how to spend it!

Congratulations to Make-A-Wish Maine and thank you to everyone who entered, it is quite heartening to see such support for so many deserving non-profits. The spirit of giving is alive and well this holiday season!
