Barr Transportation is seeking a heavy duty diesel mechanic to join our team. Our outside repair business has grown tremendously and we need help!!
Applicant must have
• 2 years experience with a willingness to learn new things.
• Must have own basic tools and storage unit.
•Valid Drivers license and reliable transportation.
• Dependable and capable of 5 days a week work with good work ethic. If attendance is an issue in the past this won't work.
•CDL and NYS inspector licenses are a plus but not required.

We are taking applications for Full time diesel truck/trailer mechanics-techs for our growing business. This is for day and/
split shift. (10:30am-7pm with a 2.00 hr shift adjustment).

We have done all kinds of jobs here at Barr from trucks to cars, race haulers to farm equipment. This may be the best one yet.... Great customer calls and says he has a some body work for our us. Half hour later in comes the job..... He has a local restaurant's mascot on his trailer that was "cow tipped" and got banged up!! We turned it over to Mike and a day later she's "udderly" beautiful again!!!

Today a good customer called and needed road service.... Turned out it was down a dirt road and thru a couple fields where truck was and made for a great pic!! Never know what we are going to get into each trip out...
