🚨 why is “stacking blocks” is a hard NO?
We see it all the time — rear leaf kits doubled up with two lift blocks, longer U-bolts, and crossed fingers. What you don’t see is how quickly that setup can turn dangerous. Stacked blocks increase axle wrap, overload U-bolts, shift pinion angle unpredictably, and create a real risk of the axle walking, cracking spring perches, or worse — letting go at speed.
Leaf lift isn’t just about height. It’s about geometry, clamp load, pinion angle, shock travel, and keeping everything working together safely. Shortcuts in the rear suspension aren’t just bad for the truck… they’re bad for you and everyone around you on the road.
At Ratchet’s Offroad, we build it right the first time — proper leaf packs, correct blocks (if used at all), quality U-bolts, torqueed hardware, and dialed-in driveline angles. No guesswork. No sketchy stacks. No safety compromises.
If your truck looks like this under the rear, don’t drive it — get it fixed.
