A year ago, Marino stepped into the automotive industry ready to learn. Today, he’s turning that experience into a full-time role with Stellantis.

Starting as a Student Buyer on the Infotainment and Electronic Control Unit Purchasing team, Marino quickly learned that growth comes from more than just the work. From understanding sourcing decisions to collaborating across teams, each experience helped shape the career path he’s building today.
What made the biggest impact? The people.

Through mentorship, support, and a willingness to share knowledge, Marino was able to turn learning into real-world experience that prepared him for what’s next.

Now, he’s continuing that journey in the Purchasing Rotational Program, building on everything he’s learned along the way.

Employee Spotlight: Meet Kellen

For nearly a decade, Kellen has helped students launch their careers through campus recruiting. Today, he’s sharing a little about his journey and advice for interns and recent grads starting out.

Why did you choose Stellantis?
“I’ve admired the company for a long time. Growing up nearby and being a longtime customer, the brands were always around me. Now I get to work on the inside, contributing to things I used to admire from a distance. Some days it feels like a kid walking into a candy store - it’s pretty cool to be part of it.”

What advice would you give interns or recent grads?
“Treat every experience as a chance to build relationships - not just something to add to your resume. Early in your career, your curiosity, work ethic, and willingness to learn will set you apart. Ask questions, volunteer for projects, and get involved. The connections you make during internships and rotational programs often turn into long-term mentors and collaborators.”

What helps a student stand out during the recruiting process?
“Students who stand out are willing to learn and show up as true team players. Skills can be developed, but curiosity, coachability, and strong communication make a real difference. Being open to feedback and focused on how you can contribute leaves a lasting impression.”

Stellantis is looking for an experienced Audio Systems Engineer to help design and architect the next generation of in-vehicle sound experiences.

In this role, you’ll work across infotainment platforms, DSPs, and software stacks to build high-quality audio systems inside our vehicles. You’ll collaborate with system architects, DSP engineers, and hardware teams to troubleshoot complex issues and integrate technologies like Android Automotive, premium branded audio systems, and advanced audio processing frameworks.

Welcoming Our Newest Area Managers

Following the hiring effort across the Sales and Mopar organization late last year to expand the team and strengthen support for our dealers, many of our newest Area Managers recently completed a week long training immersion as part of their onboarding at Stellantis.

The program included facility tours, training sessions, executive Q&A discussions, dealership simulations, welcome sessions, and team building activities designed to prepare them for their roles supporting dealers across North America.

As Keith Yancy from the Performance Institute shared, the enthusiasm, drive, and energy this group brought to the program made the experience especially exciting for everyone involved.

We are proud to welcome this group and look forward to seeing the impact they will make as they begin their careers with Stellantis.

We asked Eric a few questions about his role and his perspective on careers in manufacturing.

What stands out to you when recruiting for manufacturing and skilled trades roles?
There are many opportunities in the manufacturing space depending on a person’s interest. The availability of talent in skilled trades keeps shrinking, so this creates an excellent opportunity for those earlier in career or for students considering their career options.

What advice would you give someone looking to build a long term career in manufacturing?
A career in manufacturing can be very rewarding, and I view manufacturing as critical to the success of Stellantis. When considering a career in manufacturing options include Operations leadership, Skilled trades such as electrician, pipefitter, and millwright, Engineering, Supply Chain and Logistics, Maintenance and Reliability, and Program or Project Management. If you are new to manufacturing, it is important to learn the fundamentals and always focus on safety. Problem solving skills are key to a successful career in manufacturing and staying current on new technologies will help grow your career.

Why did you choose Stellantis to grow your career?
Most of my career I have worked for suppliers in the automotive industry and working for an OEM has always been of strong interest to me. Stellantis was very attractive to me as a global organization with outstanding brands and their values of people first, customer centric, and value creation really resonated with me. I chose Stellantis as a place I intend to call my last employer.
