What a year it has been at Atwater Karting Speedway! ❀️

A HUGE thank you to each and every person who supported AKS this season. Whether you raced with us, sat in the stands, sponsored an event, donated, helped spread the word, or simply showed up and supported our track β€” THANK YOU! We truly could not do what we do without all of you.

An extra special thank you to our incredible staff and volunteers who put in countless hours behind the scenes. So much work goes into making every race weekend happen, and we are incredibly grateful for every helping hand.

Most importantly, thank you to our racers and racing families for choosing to spend your weekends with us. Watching the kids grow, improve, make friendships and create memories is exactly why we do this.

Who’s ready for a GREAT weekend of racing at Atwater Karting Speedway?! πŸ”₯🏁

We have something extra special happening this weekend as our racing community comes together to support one of our own, Kian Pitt.🧑

Thanks to so many incredible drivers and Dirt Empire Photography, we will have LOTS of door panels up for silent auction tomorrow! We’ll have a table set up with all of the auction items, and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to Kian and his family.

πŸ“Έ Empire Dirt Photography will also be donating 50% of all purchased media from the weekend to Kian’s family! Text Braden for photo/video services: 320-979-7375.

🧑 Alysha Christensen will also have stickers available for sale at check-in, with proceeds going to support Kian and his family!

Saturday we’ll finally get in our Wing Rumble makeup show with TWO completely separate shows!

πŸ’² Entry fees will remain the same as a normal race night to help keep costs down for our racers!

‼️ ALL classes will run as normal on Saturday. There will be no payouts for flat kart classes Saturday due to the Maxxis race happening the same day.

Unfortunately, there are some pretty sick people in this world who will take advantage of situations like this. Someone has created a FAKE Venmo account pretending to be Atwater Karting Speedway.

⚠️ The fake account has a dash (-) at the END of the username along with the photo of Kian.

βœ… Our REAL Atwater Karting Speedway Venmo is the FIRST account listed and has our AKS logo as the profile picture. Attached is also our QR code that will take you directly to our page.

Please double-check the account before sending any money. We hate that we even have to make this post, especially when people are simply trying to come together and help a family during a difficult time.

Our racing community has always shown up for one another when it matters most, and right now, Kian and his family need all of us behind them. 🏁

If you’re at Minnewaska Area Go Kart Racing Association this weekend, there will be a free-will offering available to help Kian’s family with medical expenses, travel, food, gas, and anything else they may need during this incredibly difficult time. They are also donating $5 from every driver entry and pit pass on Saturday to Kian’s family.

If you can’t make it to Westport this weekend but would still like to help, you can Venmo Atwater Karting Speedway.



All donations received for Kian will go directly to his family.
