Ok, short update…my cancer is still in remission 😎😎 , but… the pneumonia is still hanging in there…. I’m able to work, at my real job, but not much else 😳😳 I’m usually wiped out by the time I get home… so I’m going to continue to decline work until we can get this sorted out… Thanks for all the support and well wishes everyone has been sending…!

Little update from my personal page…..

Hmmm… nice sunny day, but a bit blustery with the wind… and mid 40 degrees… good day to clean my shop… and get ready for winter… and to my Tin Shack customer’s, I’m not ready for after hours work just yet.. I’m still pretty drained after work every day, and I sometimes get those weeks that push me into sleeping 12-14 hours on Saturday /Sunday, so I’m still not taking work, and probably won’t , until after the first of the year…. Will I start working on bike stuff again before that , absolutely… but most of it will be shop projects, that I’ve been putting off, and are in my timeline… not someone else’s..😉

Ok just throwing an update out.. and not the one I was wanting.... I’m temporarily closed...due to an 18 week treatment regimen that will start next week. The treatment is for a tumor that was found during a CT scan when I had my kidney stone issues in March... they are telling me that it is curable, which is good, so I am temporarily closed until I see how hard my treatment hits me. I want to focus on getting back to 100% before I start taking on work again.... Thanks for your understanding, during this little bump in the road...Shawn & Robin

Just want to give a shout out to RPM Productons, and all the D14 racers headed to Hastings today, everyone have a safe, fast race day... wish we could have been there, but I need to give my body a break right now... hope to see you at a racetrack soon..😉

Ok guys and gals, I hate to do this , but I am temporarily not taking any new work including shoes... I’m having some kidney stone issues , and need to get them sorted out , and because of some of the meds, I’m not allowed around heavy equipment...sooo I will update when I’m good to go... thanks for your understanding..

Doing some cleaning and organizing while the shop warms up this morning, and found this photo... one of the first “real race cars” I worked on... a land speed record holder, by 2,at the time GM aero engineers... one went on to Hendrick motor sports, and ultimately opened his own wind tunnel, A2, in Charlotte, and the other going to NOS systems..,l was able to do a little welding and fab work after hours on the car at my first job, and they thanked me by setting the record on my 20th birthday!!!
