Zero tire changes is one of the main reasons why we finished 2nd at the Rock Krawler Rausch Creek Rumble! Our Mickey Thompson Baja Boss tires held air across the entire course, handling the Pennsylvania chop rock like nothing else.

RACE REPORT!!!

To finish first, first you must finish!!

That has been our goal the last two races and it is definitely getting us closer to the podium!

Saturday morning was a beautiful day as we pulled into the very steep driveway of Line Mountain 4 Wheelers to get unloaded and registered for the 54th annual 7miler.
After our drivers meeting we loaded the car and lined up at the start line, we were a few class A cars from the lead position and before you knew it we were off the car was feeling good putting plenty of horsepower into the dirt thanks to Paul Gavenda the suspension felt smooth and we had pretty clean air. As we cruised through the first lap keeping it smooth and learning the course we made a few passes and before you knew it we were starting the second lap. The second lap started out just like the first, but as many of you know the mountain has a way of reminding you that anything can happen, and just like that the car started to misfire. It was giving me just enough power to get through the course, this theam carried us through the whole race.
None the less we kept the car moving, in fact the brakes started to get hot and slowing down became a challenge. Thank goodness there were a few deep water holes to cool down the brakes.
This takes us into the final lap, and up to this point we had not had a single car pass us, but all at once I found a rock that didn’t move with my passenger rear tire and got a flat, I definitely was not stopping at this point 5 miles to go until checkers, that being said we were also about to get passed and that we did by two miller cars.
At this point I just wanted to get the car to the finish line, so I laser focused and passenger side rocks to try to keep my wheel as round as possible and just like that I could see the finish! I cruised through and looped around to pit thinking to my self “I hope I counted the laps correctly”
Soon after that we learn we had come in 5th place!!
Which was amazing considering we just ran 3 laps on 6 cylinders.
All and all we had a great time and finished a great race with some awesome competitors!!
We could not do it with out all the support from our friends family and sponsors!!

The Goal:
Our goal was to get the car across the finish line! In this sport that is an accomplishment!

Qualifying:
Our hope was to go out and finish qualifying with out beating up the car, and that exactly what we did! even with our GPS being a bit delayed we were able to qualify 10th position!

The Race!!!!!!
It was race day, we were lined up at 7:15pm for a race that would last 1.5 hrs. plus a lap. We had so many questions, would we need to fuel, would the coms work, would we need to pit?

That being said we left the start line to get our first lap in, the car felt smooth and comfortable as we made our way up rock ledges and through desert sections and back into the trees, all was well right up until it wasn't..... I told Cody Gavenda we were loosing brakes, so we pulled the car off the track and I hopped out of the car and qu**ky began looking for a leak and topped off the brake fluid. The good news was i didn't find a leak, the bad news was we didn't know what the brakes were going away. After crossing another section of dessert the brakes were back!!! We had concluded that the brakes had over heated.

After that it was smooth sailing, Well for our second lap anyway. Then came our third, we where really moving and had a great feel for the course until about half way through the last lap when we heard a loud bang from beneath our seats! We aske our self questions such, "is our race over?" "Did we just blow up a transmission or transfer case?" After a few minutes pulling on shifting levers we were able to pull it into two wheel drive high.
I told Cody Gavenda hopefully we can limp it in with a broken transfer case , Which quickly turned into me asking Cody how much course was left before we were at the finish line, he replied with we have to finish the desert, a small woods section and a rock section including a ten foot tall rock ledge. Well all i can say is our Maxxis Tires gave us an incredible amount of traction to push the car in two wheel drive all the way to the checkered flag with out out a single flat tire, and landing in 7th position!

🚨 At this time it is with great sadness that we must announce Flexrock 4x4 Off-Park is temporarily CLOSED. 🚨

For good reasons only. 👇🏼

We are rebuilding our structure/operation with the customer, neighbors, and town of Attica in mind at all times. The amazing thing is we must adapt because of the large crowds our events bring in. Please be patient with us thru this process. We want to be open. We promise you. It saddens us deeply that we must remain closed during these times but it’s for the better in the end. We will reopen this year. As of right now there is no time schedule.

We appreciate everyone that has helped us grow and become the place we are today. Without you guys this wouldn’t be possible.
