I don’t really know where to begin. Our hearts are hurting today. We lost a great friend and a good, Godly man. Kenneth Chapman. Kenny has been a part of our family for over 18 years. He worked side by side with Daddy for 15 years. Did they have disagreements? Yes. Did they make mistakes? Of course! Don’t we all? But at the end of the day all that matters is that Kenny served the Lord, and we will forever be grateful to him for being a positive Christian role model to us and others.
When we lost my Papa-In-law, Kenny wasn’t able to make the services because he had to work, so that Daddy could be there for us. (Tow truck drivers work/are available 24/7). But Kenny called Brandon and I as we were heading to the funeral home and prayed the most amazing, precious prayer over us ❤️Kenny would also help my Granny when she was living, whether it was rollling her garbage can back up to her house for her or taking her breakfast with Daddy. Once we lost our dog and I had just had surgery. Mother and Kenny helped me bury our sweet pup because Brandon was at work and I was unable to do it. Kenny helped lay our hard wood floors, picked me up multiple times when Daddy couldn’t get to me, and was just a huge part of our everyday lives. When Jackson was little Daddy taught him to say, “Kenny is a lazy man.” Lol 😂 -just anything to pick at Kenny! And when Daddy had his stroke, Kenny was at the hospital next to me sobbing just as hard as I was. 😥
And oh my goodness, the phone calls back and forth when his Auburn Tigers were winning! He would just hang up on Daddy when Auburn was losing (HA!)
Kenny loved to golf. He loved his dogs. Kenny loved his family. He loved his friends. But mostly, Kenny loved to serve his Lord. He might have taken a few broken roads along the way, but he knew where he was going and always got back on the right path! Today has been tough! Tomorrow will be tougher! But I know that Kenny is reunited with his precious Brenda & many other loved ones who have gone on before him. RIP Kenny! We will forever appreciate not only your dedication to the business, but your family friendship with us. We love you! Please keep his family in your prayers. 🙏🏻💔
