Not every audio upgrade has to turn into a full system build. Sometimes you just need to fix the problem. 🔊👌

This Ford Mustang came in with a noticeable rattle coming from the front speaker.

We pulled the lower factory speaker and replaced it with a Kicker coaxial speaker, giving the customer a clean replacement and getting rid of that unwanted sound.

Quick. Simple. Effective.

That’s something we always try to determine at Maximum Audio—what does the customer actually NEED?

If one speaker is causing the problem, you don’t necessarily need thousands of dollars in equipment. Sometimes the right speaker in the right location is all it takes to MAXIMIZE your experience.

“Can you install it on MY vehicle?”

We get this question all the time—and this newer Mercedes-Benz GLE is a perfect example of why our answer is usually YES. 📹🛠️

The customer wanted a BlackVue front and rear dash camera system, but finding the correct power source on this vehicle wasn’t as simple as grabbing the first fuse that showed 12 volts.

Even after shutting the vehicle down, many of the circuits we tested remained powered. That meant we had to dig deeper, test the vehicle properly, and find a trigger that actually behaved the way we needed it to.

We found it. ✅
Integrated the system. ✅
Front and rear cameras installed. ✅
Cleaned everything up. ✅

That’s the part of professional installation people don’t always see.

Sometimes the job isn’t difficult because of the product—it’s difficult because every vehicle is different, especially as modern vehicle electronics become more complex.

That’s why we test, troubleshoot, and find a solution instead of guessing.

I was SICK when I had to pull this tint off. 😭😂 But it was probably time.

I recently got pulled over, and when the officer tested my windows, they were reading around 4%. He gave me the opportunity to remove the tint and have the citation reduced to a warning, so that’s exactly what I did.

The crazy part is…I can’t even say I completely disagree anymore.

I had been driving around with roughly 5% on the sides and 35% on the windshield for so long that I was used to it. But at night? That car was DARK. I didn’t even like other people driving it because I knew how difficult the visibility could be if you weren’t accustomed to it.

Now that I’m turning 30, I guess it’s time to make some slightly more responsible decisions. 😂

So when I retinted the car, I went with 20% instead.

I still get the privacy and clean appearance I want, but I can see considerably better at night, and I feel better about the visibility for myself and everyone else on the road.

I’m not going to lie…I still miss how that 5% LOOKED. 😂 But sometimes the best upgrade is finding the right balance between appearance, privacy, and safety.

This 2017 Honda Pilot just got two upgrades that can make a BIG difference in everyday driving. 🔥

First, we installed a JVC radio featuring wireless Apple CarPlay, allowing the customer to access navigation, music, calls, messages, and compatible apps directly from the new screen—without plugging their phone in every time they get in.

Then we added a 2-channel dash camera system for front and rear video coverage while they’re out on the road. 📹

The leather seats in this black truck weren’t damaged at all—and that’s exactly how the customer wanted to keep them.

He brought us a set of customer-supplied seat covers that he purchased online, and we handled the installation to make sure everything was properly fitted and secured.

Now he’s got an extra layer of protection between the factory leather and all the everyday wear that comes with actually using your truck.

Hearing a strange sound from underneath your BMW seat? It might not be the seat. 👀🔊

This customer came to Maximum Audio after noticing some unusual sounds coming from the passenger-side underseat subwoofer.

After diagnosing the issue, we replaced the factory unit with an Audison direct-replacement subwoofer designed specifically for the BMW application.

That’s what makes vehicle-specific upgrades like this so nice. We can retain the factory location and clean integration without trying to force a universal subwoofer into a space it wasn’t designed for.

The goal wasn’t to completely reinvent the system—the customer needed the problem FIXED while maintaining the clean factory setup.

I have to get this one off my chest. 😂

One thing that really grinds my gears is when someone comes to us specifically asking for professional advice, we give them our recommendation based on years of experience…and then they completely disregard it.

To be clear: it’s your vehicle and your money. You always have the final say.

But there’s usually a reason we’re recommending one product over another, suggesting a different system design, or telling you that something probably isn’t going to produce the results you’re expecting.

We’ve installed these products.
We’ve diagnosed these systems.
We’ve seen what fails.
We’ve seen what lasts.
And we’ve learned from situations that the average customer simply hasn’t had the opportunity to experience.

So if you decide to go against our recommendation, that’s completely your choice.

What gets frustrating is when the results aren’t what you wanted, and then you come back upset with the professional who already warned you. 😭

When the factory speaker is literally falling apart, it’s probably time for an upgrade. 😅🔊

For this Audi Q7, we replaced the failing front door speaker while maintaining as much of the original installation as possible.

We utilized the factory speaker bracket to properly mount the replacement speaker, allowing us to keep the OEM fitment and integration while giving the customer a fresh, reliable speaker.

That’s an important part of how we approach installations at Maximum Audio. We don’t want something to simply “fit.” We want it mounted securely, integrated properly, and looking like it belongs there once everything goes back together.
