Around this time of year we get alot of calls about mold and mildew odors inside of vehicles. We always bring the vehicles in to perform an inspection first. The odor usually comes from food or moisture inside the vehicle. One of the main causes of water leaking is what you see in these photos. A car sits under a tree. Then leaves and pollen fall and get trapped around the engine compartment, sunroof tracks, or even the 3rd break light on pickups. These areas are designed to channel water out and away from the vehicle but instead they get blocked. The water then has nowhere to go so it backflows inside your vehicle. If your engine compartment looks like this sooner or later you will experience mold or mildew. @ Ultimate Custom Detailing
