Ever noticed the card left on the dash? Ever wonder why it’s there with a message inside?
Is it to push Christianity and force what I believe on you? Heavens no. That’s not my heart.
Even if you’re not a Christian, I still love you and will pray for you before or after the appointment. Even if you don’t like the card and never read it, my opinion of you won’t change. My heart is to find avenues to love people in a hurting world full of challenges. I’m just a Christian, so I speak from the vantage point I know. 😂
When the business started, I wanted to find ways to go beyond just detailing and show the customer that they weren’t just a dollar amount—that they were someone who was loved and cared about.
Over time, through prayer, I began to receive ideas on how I could go beyond what was paid for. Whether it’s the Customer of the Month with a free detail, an add-on after every four services, or so much more that I’d rather not make known, the goal has always been the same.
The cards were one of those ideas: to show the customer, Christian or not, that they are cared for and watched over.
Whether it’s the person struggling to make ends meet, I want them to have hope that provision is on the way.
The person facing a health scare—I’d love to comfort them with a word that this is not the end, and that better days are coming.
The person who believes their life is a mess—I want them to know that it’s not a mess and that everything will work out for good.
Someone may be struggling with condemnation, fear, guilt, problems in their marriage, feeling defeated, or whatever else they may be facing. I want that person to be comforted and know that this is not the end.
Restoration is coming.
Is there a business risk involved? Of course. I’m sure there are customers who aren’t Christians who aren’t fans of it, and maybe because of that, they’ll go somewhere else.
That’s a risk I’m willing to take for the one person who needs a word to get through the season they’re in or to help them come out of the storm they’re facing.
Profiting is not the highest goal of this business.
Loving people is.
