I believe that a community that takes care of its own will always be a strong community.
I have come across a family who I won’t mention names because I have not passed this idea through them because of the burdens they are currently going through. Looking to see who can maybe help donate some gift cards for food, especially places that can deliver in Marietta. This family has currently got one child in the hospital having surgery and the wife is at home battling cancer, again. They don’t have much of a local support group so I’m taking to Facebook to see if we as a community here in Marietta/Woodstock/ Kennesaw can pull something through for them and I know meals have got to be the easiest and probably well welcomed due to the lack of time this family has on hand. I can have cards mailed to our office or I can swing by and grab anything that can be given locally. I have not talked to this person in about 5-6 months and had a conversation just today about all these dark clouds hanging over them and I felt convicted to pull over here at a QT and write this need to try to get something going. Prayer is always free and I hope we can be a blessing to this family. Thanks.
