Check out this stunning Euro 1985 Porsche 928S we have stored at Apex Auto Club!
There are some technical differences between the Euro and US versions. Here are a few:
1. Engine: The European version of the 928S came with a 4.7-liter V8 engine that produced 310 horsepower, while the US version had a 5.0-liter V8 that produced 288 horsepower. The European engine had higher compression and a different camshaft, which gave it more power.
2. Suspension: The European version of the 928S had a stiffer suspension than the US version, which made it better suited for handling on twisty roads.
3. Bumpers: The US version of the 928S had larger bumpers that met US safety standards, while the European version had smaller, more sleek bumpers.
4. Lighting: The US version of the 928S had sealed beam headlights, while the European version had more advanced headlights that used H1 bulbs.
5. Emissions: The US version of the 928S had emissions equipment to meet US regulations, which slightly reduced its power output compared to the European version.
Originally a Swiss car, this beauty is in pristine condition and really turn heads on the road. With an engine out rebuild using sport headers and a high flow cat along with a glass out respray in the original Prussian Blue, we’re luck to have this one... (And who doesn't like to stare at a twin-dizzy 928 engine!🤘🤘🤘)
