Vehicle: 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara

Customer Concern:
Our customer brought their Jeep in after noticing a coolant leak and also mentioned a persistent clicking noise they couldn’t pinpoint.

Our Diagnosis:
After a thorough inspection, we found the coolant leak was coming from a failed heater core. While tracking down the clicking sound, we also verified that the culprit was a faulty temperature control actuator inside the HVAC system.

The Repair:
Since accessing the heater core requires removing the dashboard, we’re replacing the heater core and evaporator at the same time. It’s a smart preventative repair that helps save labor costs down the road if the evaporator were to fail later. We’ll also replace the temperature control actuator, eliminating that annoying clicking noise and restoring proper HVAC operation.

At our shop, we don’t just fix the obvious problem—we take the time to identify the root cause and recommend repairs that make the most sense for our customers’ time and money.
