I know there are a lot of detailers out there that say things like "I refuse to do 'basic' details. It's all or nothing." And that's kind of crazy to me.
Today I did this truck. Is it perfect? Absolutely not, but I did what was asked of me. A mechanic reached out to do a quick clean on this truck so he could stand to work on it.
I could have told him it would be $X because of the condition and what it needs. Instead, I gave him the price for what he needed, so he booked.
I know a lot of people hesitate to reach out to detailers because more times than not, they get berated with upsells, and sometimes they pay for more than they need.
Does this before and after look good for my portfolio? Not really, but it also shows true results when perfection is not the goal.
We're here to help, not to sell.
