Your bike might not be “too stiff” — it might be packing down.
Rebound damping controls how quickly the suspension returns after being compressed. When it’s too slow, the bike can ride deeper and deeper in the stroke through repeated bumps, braking zones, or corner exits.
That can make the motorcycle feel harsh, vague, nervous, or lazy to finish the turn.
Before you start cranking preload or compression, learn what the bike is actually telling you.
Save this before your next setup session — and comment “REBOUND” if you want a simple test for dialing it in.
