Making progress on the latest Haltech install into a 1993 SuperCoupe. First picture shows what we yanked out, subsequent photos show the streamlined wiring harness and associated hardware going in its place. We chose to mount the hardware on the glovebox door, but the rest of the wiring follows factory pathways more or less. We re-used factory firewall grommets and connectors wherever possible. The 6 coils actually mount to the factory locations only minor modifications, so that’s cool.

These stainless longtube headers seemed like a good deal but the collectors always bothered me and when they turned blue that was the final straw.

Of course no transmission work is complete without an ATF bath, but this car is also getting an AOD built by Level 10 in New Jersey with a billet 9.5” 2400rpm stall non locking converter. We added a cool Trick Flow extra capacity cast aluminum fluid pan.

The exhaust system is pretty badass, with Kooks custom stainless steel headers and an all custom TIG welded stainless 2.5” dual system. More to come on this one off build!

This Russell Performance 10micron SS mesh filter will be compatible with E85 and fits exactly in the stock location. Other than some neatly tucked Fragola PTFE fuel hoses, it almost looks completely stock.

We try to keep things as user serviceable and familiar as possible partly because these cars tend to live a long way from our shop so people other than us will be looking after them later.

Plus it looks cleaner and it’s the right way. Unless it’s in our way, then Delete! lol

Some people asked what all was being replaced with our Haltech ECU install so we will start here with the Deatchwerks 810lph brushless in tank fuel pump kit. This monster has dual speeds for daily use as well as enough power/volume to push enough E85 through the rest of the system to support over 600rwhp which is more than enough for us.

Notice that we are using the factory fuel pump hangar assembly with just one extra hole drilled to attach the upgraded wiring (included in the kit) to handle the added current draw.

Deatchwerks lifetime warranty is a nice added plus in case anyone is nervous about the new tech involved here. This is the first time this kind of fuel capacity has ever been installed into a stock SC fuel tank so that alone is a pretty cool upgrade.
