Wrench Monkey Customs & Repair Owner Jimmy Dean will use his more than 30 years' experience to properly diagnose and repair - or customize or fabricate - your vehicle.

Jimmy Dean, Wrench Monkey’s owner/operator, has had a lifelong love of cars. He began working on them when he was 16 years old, starting with the very first car he owned. Over the years he has continued this work - both as a hobby and for a living. Over the last 26 years of his automotive career, Jimmy has worked at dealerships, was the lead mechanic at one of the City of Columbus’ school bus gara

ges, and worked at several high performance shops, as well as doing restorations and fabrications – all in the Columbus, Ohio area. After being a lifelong central Ohio resident, Jimmy moved with his family to Ashtabula in the summer of 2016. He has settled in to small town life and has been able, here, to realize his dream of opening his own repair and customization shop. Jimmy lives his life with a focus on integrity, trustworthiness, and reliability, and Wrench Monkey Customs and Repair operates with the same core values.

Intoxalock is back to full functionality! I can't speak for every shop, but we are not charging any of our customers who had a lockout or premature calibration required as a result of the security breach at Intoxalock. Life is hard enough, let's do what we can to take care of each other ❤️

To our Intoxalock customers - we are aware of the service problems created by the cyber/security breach at Intoxalock. If you're due for a calibration or have received a lockout notification, all we are able to do at this point is connect your device to the service machine and give a 10 day extension for calibrations/lockouts (this service will not cost you anything). We are unable to access our Intoxalock service center account, and our communication with them is limited to the same text message line as everyone else. They have not given any estimated time for restoration of service. We know this is causing people lots of issues, and if we are given any other ways to help we will certainly let you all know. We will update here with any information as we get it!

We're closing down for the day due to the weather. We have folks heading home to Jefferson, and want to make sure everyone makes it home safely. (Our phone and internet are down also, which makes it hard to get things done also!). The hardest part of running a family business is figuring out how to manage family and the business. We've had a lot going on with the family recently, so if we've been slow to respond or not available when you need us, we are truly sorry. We don't want to let anyone down or make anyone unhappy. Unfortunately sometimes we just have to make a choice and we have to choose our family. We hope you understand. We appreciate all of you, and without you we couldn't do what we love! 💙🖤
