🚗⚡ KNOW YOUR CAR: WHAT DOES THE ALTERNATOR DO? ⚡🚗

Your alternator may not get much attention, but it plays a BIG role in keeping your vehicle running! 🔧

So, what does it do?

The alternator is essentially your vehicle’s electrical generator. While the engine is running, it helps keep the battery charged and powers your vehicle’s electrical systems. 🔋

When the engine runs, the drive belt spins the alternator, which creates the electricity your vehicle needs to keep everything working properly.

🚨 Here are some common signs your alternator may be struggling:

💡 Dim or flickering lights – Headlights or dashboard lights may become noticeably weaker or fluctuate in brightness.

🔋 Battery warning light – A battery-shaped warning light or an “ALT”/“GEN” light may appear on your dashboard.

⚡ Electrical issues – Power windows may move slowly, heated seats may not work properly, or you may notice other electrical glitches.

🚙 Repeated dead battery – If your battery keeps dying or your vehicle stalls while driving, the alternator may not be keeping the battery properly charged.

👉 If your vehicle is showing any of these signs, don’t ignore them! A failing alternator can leave you stranded.

Today, we pause to remember the lives that were lost on September 11, 2001, and the countless families whose lives were forever changed.

We remember the heroes who ran toward danger when others were running away, the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice, and the strength and unity that brought our nation together in the days that followed.

May we never forget the lives lost, the courage shown, and the love that carried so many through unimaginable heartbreak.

We’re excited to introduce the newest member of our team—our new Service Writer, Bailey St. Romain! 🎉

With 23 years of experience in the automotive industry, Bailey brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team. After spending much of his career in the fast-paced world of Toyota dealerships, he has found a real appreciation for the small-town atmosphere of a local repair shop.

As a Service Advisor, Bailey genuinely enjoys helping people get back on the road and believes in treating every customer with honesty, integrity, and respect. He takes pride in getting to know customers and making sure they feel comfortable and confident about their vehicle’s care.

Outside of the shop, Bailey is a proud husband and doting father to his beautiful daughter. When he’s not spending time with her, you’ll likely find him riding motorcycles or tending to his ever-growing collection of plants. He’s happy to be part of the local community and enjoys being someone customers can count on when they need a hand with their vehicle.
