Another build is wired up and ready to go! 🔥

This 1993 C1500 SS came in for a complete electrical and ECU upgrade. We got everything wired up and running on a Haltech R3 ECU, giving this old-school 454-powered truck some seriously modern engine management.

We also added Canchecked gauges to display live data directly from the ECU, giving the driver an easy way to monitor everything the engine is seeing while out on the road.

Unfortunately, this round we weren’t able to get an accurate dyno number. To avoid turning the factory driveshaft into a pile of parts, we had to make our pulls in 2nd gear instead of putting it through a full-gear pull. 😂 Better safe than sorry!

Either way, this SS is now wired, running, and ready for the next round of upgrades! 💪

Another week, another two projects getting the Full Send Motorsports treatment! 🔥

First up, this 1992 Ford Mustang is in the shop for the finishing touches on its V8 swap. We’re giving this one the full Full Send treatment with a Haltech ECU and Boomslang PNP harness, allowing us to keep the factory wiring completely untouched.

We’re also adding a complete fuel system and Injector Dynamics ID1050 injectors to support the extra power from the Vortech supercharger system. Once everything is buttoned up, this Mustang will be ready to make some serious power! 💪

Over on Mike’s lift is this beautiful Corvette, getting a complete performance makeover. We’re installing true coilover suspension, a Corsa axle-back exhaust, Stainless Works long-tube headers and X-pipe, FAST 102 intake manifold, BTR Stage 2 cam and supporting mods, and an ATI Super Damper.

A lot of parts and a lot of work going into this Vette, and when we’re finished, it’ll be ready to hit the streets! 🏁

The legendary Nissan R32 GT-R is back on our dyno, and this time it came in with a completely different setup.

Previously, this GT-R was running twin top-mount turbos, but the customer decided it was time to step things up with a single Garrett G40-1150 turbocharger. The goal was a very respectable 850 AWHP, and with an incredible turbo kit built by Spectrum Motorsports and remote tuning support from Vlad on the AEM Infinity ECU, everything came together perfectly.

By the end of the tuning session, we didn’t just hit the goal—we blew right past it, laying down an impressive 901 AWHP! This GT-R is now ready to put that power to the pavement.

This week in the shop we’ve got two very cool projects underway!

First up on Erik’s lift is a rare 1993 Chevrolet C1500 454SS. From the factory these trucks came with a 454 big block, but this one has been taken to the next level with a Vortech supercharger. It came to us for a complete Haltech makeover, as the factory electrical system and ECU were beginning to show their age with random electrical issues. We’re replacing everything with a Haltech NEXUS R3 ECU to take full control of the engine, along with a Haltech TiL4 transmission controller to run the 4L80E. Once complete, this truck will have the reliability and modern controls to match its boosted big block.

Over in Mike’s bay is a gorgeous 2012 Shelby GT500 that unfortunately suffered a fuel system failure, contaminating and clogging the entire fuel system. To get it back on the road and ready for more power, we’re installing a Fore Innovations twin-pump fuel system, Injector Dynamics ID1050x injectors, and a GripTec 2.6” supercharger pulley.

The Camaro is officially back together and making some serious power!

After completing the engine build, we got everything installed back into the car and headed to the dyno. Once the engine was properly broken in and the oil was changed, it was time to make some power pulls.

Even with higher-than-ideal intake air temperatures from the summer heat in the shop, the results were outstanding. This combination picked up over 80 wheel horsepower compared to its previous setup. Just as importantly, we were able to safely and reliably rev the engine to 7,500 RPM, where before the power would fall off around 6,200 RPM. The new combination continues to pull hard all the way through the rev range, making for a much faster and more enjoyable car.

Erik handled the calibration using the Holley Terminator ECU, dialing everything in to deliver safe, reliable power and excellent drivability.

Remember the 2000 Honda Civic Si we posted about last week? Well, it’s finished, and here’s the outcome! 🔥

Erik completed a fully custom wiring harness from the ground up, centered around a Haltech Elite 2500 ECU, PDM-16, WB1 wideband module, and IC-7 digital dash.

By adding the Haltech PDM-16, we no longer have to rely on the car’s aging factory electrical system to power the engine management components. Everything engine-related now receives clean, reliable power directly through the PDM. We also took the time to mount all of the electronics away from heat sources to improve reliability and long-term durability.

The result? No more electrical gremlins, cleaner wiring, and a car that finally functions exactly as it should. This Civic is now built on a solid electrical foundation and is ready for whatever comes next.

This mean green 350-swapped S10 is back in the shop for another round of upgrades! 💚🔥

After getting the exhaust system dialed in, the customer was ready for more power. Mike is currently installing a set of AFR 195cc cylinder heads, a COMP Cams hydraulic roller camshaft, and a single-plane high-rise intake manifold. These upgrades will let this 350 breathe the way it should and make a noticeable difference in power throughout the RPM range.

Mike is taking his time to make sure everything is installed correctly, and we can’t wait to get everything buttoned up and see what this combination does. Stay tuned for more updates as this project comes together!

Electrical gremlins can be some of the most frustrating issues to track down—especially on a car that's been modified over the years.

This returning customer's 2000 Honda Civic Si came in ready for a major electrical overhaul. Over the years, the factory wiring harness had been modified countless times to support upgrades like coil-on-plug ignition, a trigger kit, an electric water pump, and various sensors. Eventually, the aging factory wiring and years of changes caught up, creating reliability issues.

We're solving the problem the right way by building a completely custom engine harness for this turbocharged, Haltech Elite 2500-powered Civic. We're also integrating a Haltech PD-16 power distribution module to handle everything engine-related, eliminating the need to rely on the factory engine wiring and providing a cleaner, more reliable electrical system.

When it's finished, this Civic will have an electrical system that's ready to support its performance for years to come.

Assembly is underway on this Camaro's new heart! 🔥

This build is getting a serious upgrade with a Summit Racing forged rotating assembly featuring 11.8:1 compression pistons, a BTR Stage 3 N/A cam, BTR canted cylinder heads, a Holley low-mount intake, and plenty of other supporting components to make the most of this combination.

Before assembly, Erik carefully checked all bearing clearances and file-fit the piston rings to the proper end gap for this application, ensuring everything is built to spec for maximum performance and long-term reliability.

With the previous stock bottom end and an unknown camshaft, this car laid down 438 WHP. Now it's time to see what a properly matched, purpose-built setup can do. We can't wait to get it buttoned up, on the dyno, and see what kind of numbers this combination puts down.
