Today's Autocross is underway!

If you find yourself at a car show, or at Poage's Landing, come down to the Ashland Mall and hang out with us while we run some laps!

Results are in from Saturday's event!

It was another day of heated competition as 1st and 5th place were a little less than second off each other!

Congratulations to Eric Stover in his Cobalt SS powered Goblin Cart for taking FTD! He was 3/4 of a second ahead of Ryan Thornton in his 1983 Ford Powered Formula car. Brett Basham came in 3rd as the fastest with fenders and registration in his 1991 MR2.

Also big Congratulations to Jerry Kleiber for taking the #1 spot in PAX times! He held off Brett Basham by almost 2 Hundredths of a second to claim top spot!

Thank You to everyone who came out to run! Thank you to everyone who came out to watch!

Our next event is September 19th, then we finish out our season on October 17th.

Hey everyone!

If you're interested in knowing more about River Cities, or more about Autocross, this Thursday is our business meeting.

Where: El Colonial in Russell

When: Thursday, August 6th at 7pm

Why: To discuss our past event and any changes needed. Discuss our upcoming event and implement those changes. Discuss plans for events into the next year. We also find that talking cars pairs very nicely over good Mexican food.

Who: Anyone. Members, Non-Members, people who are curious and want to know more. Participation in Autocross is not required to attend. We're happy to just meet you and answer any questions you may have.

Congratulations to Connor McEnany, 1st place in PAX due to the masterful control of his 2005 Mazda Miata!

Available to anyone who's never competed in an Autocross, the entry fee for the new driver and the SCCA member who encouraged them will be covered.

Being a Charity Event, the recipients have a choice if they would like to be refunded or if they would like to put it all towards Hope's Place. Remember, we keep nothing for the June Event.
