Who wants to see the outcome of an adult Christmas haul? We are stepping up Pedro’s 2020 STi with quite the parts list.

We will be seeing how the stock engine does after SHUEtuning dials it in. With a GrimmSpeed turbo paired with IAG Performance exhaust parts coated by Detective Coating, the COBB Tuning NexGen ethanol compatible items will partner with the Injector Dynamics 1300cc injectors.

We are drop kicking the door on 2025 with a ton of large projects utilizing IAG Performance long blocks and short blocks, as well as some Import Performance Transmissions (IPT) built automatics to round out some projects.

While not the fastest or rarest we work on, this is an interesting one because of the factor of time.

This 98 Forester came to us after sitting since June of 2016. That makes this one fun because that was before even the first iteration of GNG began. We were still in a garage in a backyard dreaming of what we could be, and now here we are still going and still grinding.

It will likely need some more love to be 100%, but during this round we went with a full engine reseal using the updates MLS headgaskets and all OEM timing components. Some minor snags like crank sensor corrosion and very old aftermarket alarm, we overcame the obstacles.

What do we think of our friend Tre’s 2020 STi on some new RAYS wheels?

Already sitting on the highly recommended Silvers NEOMAX coilovers , we mounted the wheels along with a 30k service consisting of OE filters and Motul fluid services.

We continue to work through backlog of builds while scheduling repair and maintenance everyday! All forms of communication are available and willing to discuss your needs.

Recently added to our plate is this lovely white VA STi with all the right modifications dealing with a lean condition. We were able to point towards the lower intake and on removal found that some 5 year old gaskets have given up on the passenger side bank.

During the repair we also added a PERRIN Performance turbo inlet and some new hoses for the aging IAG Performance AOS previously installed.

We did also find a common leak spot on the steering rack , so we will be replacing that with a brand new OEM unit and performing a four wheel alignment on our Hunter Hawkeye alignment machine.

We are proud to partner with Cars and Coffee 804 on the new event for the people and the community.

We are hunting for FOUR cars to display at the first event. They must be Subaru and they need to be past or present patrons of GNG PERFORMANCE in any iteration in the last seven years.

Even though it’s been awhile for a post , we have been very busy , so we apologize.

The current owner states the conversion was done a long time ago , but you can barely tell. We are going to be tasked with some suspension upgrades to stiffen it up and update the condition.
