Don’t use DIY A/C recharge cans — especially those containing leak sealant.

These products can cause serious damage to your A/C system and may turn a minor repair into a much more expensive one. Leak sealants can contaminate A/C components, restrict system flow, and create problems for professional service equipment.

Instead, have your A/C system properly inspected. A thorough A/C inspection includes:

✅ Recovering and evacuating the refrigerant from the system
✅ Charging the system with nitrogen to safely identify leaks
✅ Inspecting components, fittings, hoses, condenser, evaporator, and service ports
✅ Determining the actual cause of the problem before replacing parts

Finding and repairing the leak correctly is almost always less expensive than dealing with the damage that DIY sealants can cause.
